SC Parts / Non collection and no return of money

I ordered parts for an MGC and was assured that the parts were available and would be sent the following day. Despite repeated phone calls it took about ten days for the parts to arrive. The parts were for an MGB and not for an MGC This was reported to the company immediately and I telephoned. I was told that the correct would be sent. I phoned several days later to find out where my parts were. I was told that the parts were no longer available. Some 6 weeks later I am still waiting for the parts to be collected and my money refunded.

Despite a number of phone calls, e-mails and a letter to the Managing Director I am unable to get the parts collected or my money returned.

    Thanks for your email - sorry I could not be of more help... But really, SC Parts Group are not to be trusted in my opinion. Keep the World informed about the truth about SC parts here and maybe they will notice a change in business activity ! Its about time that they stopped ripping people off !

    Is the only web address ? I hope that there is not a similar name with a scam going on !

    I had absolutely the same experience with those guys and i´m fighting to get my money (more than 1000$) back since 6 months. The only chance to do this is by Small Claims Court in UK. To do this, you need an address in UK at a local solicitor. If we find enough people with the same experience it might be finacillay ok to go to a solicitor, a single complaint is more expensive than the claimed ammount.

    I have just had the same from SC parts, they took 2 weeks to send the wrong parts, promises, promises, promises, charged me twice ( overcharged on carriage) and then charged me more money on my VISA a week later for nothing, I asked for a refund, they would only give me one if I sent a copy of my VISA statement !!!... no chance. I have since spoken to other people in my club, who have had the same experience with them and had to cancel their cards, Now cancelled my card and took it up with VISA direct, much hassle. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS RIP OFF COMPANY, and if you have ever dealt with them ... watch your VISA statement !

    One gearbox bought and payed for. On arrival it was a different gearbox for an different car. I Returned it and they refuse to send me my money back. My Bank is on the matter and the MasterCard fraud section is working just now to full-fill my claim.
    Stay way away from this firm!. They lie, charge you for parts they don't send and scam you with mails.
    If they have a bank connection, I´ll will get my money back
