Purchased a baby Ragdoll (born 10/28/2017) from the above breeder and he was delivered to me in Maryland on 12/17/17. Arrived with a cough, watery eyes and nose. I took him to the Vet 12/22/17 was told he had a fever, and a infection. Was immediately put on antibiotics, and eye drops. Between 12/22/17 and 02/06/18 visited Vet 9 times due to illness. On 3/7/18 took him to Mid Atlantic Cat Hospital where he was diagnosed with FIP disease, at which time he had to be euthanized.

I contacted the breeder immediately, she promised to give me a replacement. She offered me a kitten, but not a Seal Pt, which I turned down and asked for a refund or a Seal Pt. kitten. Since that time she completely ignores my emails requesting a Seal Pt. or refund.

I have spent $2000 in Vet bills, plus $1000 for the kitten and delivery charge, and still do not have my kitten.

I suspect the breeder has had other complaints about the FIP virus. If you purchased a kitten from Rhonda Williams, aka, RhondasRags, aka Bentley Rags, please contact me.

First of all, she shipped the cat, without a person on the flight? That’s red flag number 1. Second, he wasn’t even 2 months old! I learned the hard way, I adopted a kitten when I first discovered ragdolls, he was extremely sick, I’m still in debt and he passed June 25, 2017. He made it 4 1/2 years, vet didn’t think he’d make it to see 2. He had a myriad of condiction’s, I suspect one was dry FIP. Looking back, the breeder let me take him at barely 8 weeks, he immediately had a URI, that I don’t think ever fully cleared his entire life. 8 weeks is way too young, they need the antibodies from mom still, and to put him on a plane without a courier in the cabin, that’s just inhumane! Never buy from a breeder that allows kittens to leave prior to twelve weeks. I’m sorry, I know it’s heartbreaking. I was crying this morning over my baby and it’s almpst been a year.
