New World / Awful customer treatment

We purchased 2 pasta makers, on first use of the machines it broke. Machines was returned to the supplier by New World. Had to phone again to hear if we can come and collect our money.Rikus Stander phoned someone to find out what our credit amount is; every thing was a joke to our account.Were told to pick out products for a specific value. Some of the products that we chose as refund were incomplete, on requesting Rikus Stander to assist us, he had such an attitude telling us he had nothing to do with us. He denied making jokes at our account on the telephone.This man was extremely rude no respect for us as customers started shouting at us.The owner - Lesley Cohen was sitting is his booth in clear vision and hearing of everything but acted as if he saw nothing. Rikus Stander told us that we will not receive the products until he issued us a credit note and he will not do that.We left the shop but decided to return as we were at the loosing end.Turning around, all the shop assistants, Rikus Stander and Lesley Cohen had the laugh of their lives at our account.This is NOT HOW YOU SHOULD TREAT A CLIENT AND DEFENITELY NOT A LADY.
