Nader Homes I was robbed!

Nader Homes, Inc was forced into Involuntary Chapter 7 Bankruptcy by creditors who are allegedly owed a lot of money. I would NEVER use them and I personally would not recommend that you do either. They are in my opinion morally and ethically bankrupt as well. There are a lot of us out there that have been hurt by Nader Homes. My home and at least one other prior Nader project was burglarized by a sub-contractor that he did not pay. I am receiving daily calls from sub-contractors and suppliers looking for money that he never paid them.
They never showed up for inspections. Never returned phone calls, never returned emails. They have now formed a new Company, Nader Enterprises.

I was robbed also. As soon as I give him my deposit/retainer, he used the money for his previous projects and then I had to wait till he robbed someone else before he can start on my project. It was a complete nightmare.

Nader Homes 6mos delayed & never finished punch list

I had a new home built from Nader Homes & was promised that the home would take 9 mos. The project was delayed by 6mos due to Nader Homes not capable of keeping a project manager on the job. We had 3 project manager quit during the project and by the end the project had no project manager. The owner George Nader expects the owner to do all the follow up with the sub-contractors during the project and was unable to retain the project manager due to low pay paid to the project manager. So at the end the project the Nader Homes was unable to complete punch list that needed to be completed prior to getting a C of O. The current project manager has only been at Nader for a year.
As shown on the Management team web site link only consist of George & his wife. During the building process the roof leaked and also the basement leaked even thou the basement had incorporated French drains.

Don't be fooled by the information on Nader website. Especially the builders award 2008 Sam award. The 2008 Sam award is awarded by other builders not by the consumer. Under the Nader Homes Certified Partners link Mr. Nader only has 1 certified partner because Nader does not pay his sub-contractors on time. Another reason why Nader Homes projects can not be completed on timely manner.

Look I worked for Nader in the summer of 2009, we live in hard times. All these complaints about Nader is ###! How about the subs did not do there job properly, how about the home owners did not pay on time. Sure maybe some contractors have a point there is good and bad in all of us! But Mr. Nader is a good businenessman and very respectful and kind. So instead of pointing the finger at him, what are you doing that is not on the up and up!

DON'T FORGET TO ASK HIM ABOUT THE OLD PROJECTS/SUBS BEFORE YOU GIVE HIM A PENNY...THE MINUTE YOU GIVE HIM A CHECK, YOU HAVE JUST PAID FOR ONE OF HIS OLD PROJECTS...AND NOW YOU ARE ON THE END OF LIST...

Ask Nader Homes about the following projects: Roman, Skoula, Chopra, Varsano, and Thach.

Ask Nader Homes about the following subs: Lavenburg Electric, American Air, Stairapak, Kristian the sheet rock sub, Lesco Plumbing, Kuiken Brothers, Boonton Electric, just to name a few.

Wish we did also. If I was looking to hire a contractor I would ask for a list of all sub-contractors lined up for your job. Call them. Find out how long they have been working for your contractor. If all of them are new or you cant get a complete list, that should tell you something. Good contractors keep good sub-contractors long term.

Wish I saw your post before we got involved with Nader Homes. Never finished the punch list is an understatement... How about never finished the home.
Distroyed our yard and personal belongings stored in the basement. Pictures, clothing furniture all ruined. Total disgard or repsect for our home.
The subcontractors all have the same story, underpayment, non-payment or long wait for payment. Its been a nightmare for over 1 year

I agree with Lavenburg Electric and the Home Owner. I had the same experience with Nader Homes. Finished the punch list only after 1 year, never followed up on warranty issues, and we were always hassled by the subs because they were never getting paid.

These comments and the responses are bogus and we believe have been posted by a disgruntled employee. Nader Homes has taken the appropriate legal actions. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the president of Nader Homes at [protected].
