Complaint details Three taps Faucets) were purchased from Monga Dealers at Sector 16, Faridabad on 10 September 2012. Out of which, two started giving problems within one week of installing it. Details of both are as below: FAUCETS- MST 2030 WALL MIXER SQUARE SERIES FAUCETS- MCT 1160 SINK MIXER TABLE MOUNTED Problems faced Problem 1: Irregular flow of water in bathroom tap Problem 2: Tap of sink mixer on its own got loose and started vibrating. Even if you close it tight, it does not get closed resulting in loss of water the whole day. Sequence of events: 1. 20 Sep 2012: Complaint was lodged at Marc Service Centre at given number-[protected]. It was attended by Ms Lalita under complaint number 014. She said that complaint has been noted and she will send the Service Engineer within 72 hours. No Service Engineer arrived. 2. 8 October 2012: Service Engineer Mr Virender Kumar arrived at site and attended the complaint, only after 18 days of lodging of complaint. When he checked, following were comments given by Service Engineer Virender Kumar: a. Flow from water pipe is more than required. Bathroom tap is a defective piece. b. There is no problem in sink mixer. Only that it is not fitting properly. So he again fitted it. He told my wife to sign the complaint receipt and that he will get the bathroom tap changed. 3. We started facing the same problem from next day onwards again. 4. 10 October 2012: We lodged complaint again against the complaint number 044 with Ms Lalita for both the problems. 5. 14 October 2012: Followup calls were given to their Service Center wherein the name of their Service Manager-Mr Subhash Kapur was suggested by person who received the call. 6. 15 October 2012: Again calls were made to Mr Subhash Kapur at same number [protected]. Subhash Kapur does not have the basic courtesy of talking to a lady. He misbehaved on phone, shouted on my wife who complained and said that when Service Engineer will be free, he will be sent. 7. 8 November 2012: Finally Service Engineer Mr Virender Kumar arrived at site and attended the complaint, only after 29 days of lodging of complaint. Following were comments given by Service Engineer Virender Kumar: a. Flow problem of bathroom tap needs to be corrected only through replacement. b. In sink mixer, he did some adjustments and it again stopped vibrating. Then he said that there is manufacturing fault in mixer and piece needs to be replaced. So he will go back and get it replaced. Again he requested my wife to sign the complaint receipt and that he will get it corrected. 8. 8 December 2012: We again lodged complaint third time against complaint number 091. We were told by Ms Lalita that Virender will attend on 8th or 9th but no one arrived till the time of writing this complaint. Implications: 1. This has lead to so much of mental harassment to my wife and self. Even after spending good amount of money (appx 13000/-) against buying of these products which are priced at premium than other products in same category, there is no product satisfaction at all. 2. On top of that, when you have to request for providing after sales services and even then you do not receive it, it is very frustrating. 3. Further, if company staff is so ill-trained that they cannot behave and shout at customers, what can be more humiliating than this. 4. Further more, even illtrained staff knows to behave with ladies. People like Subhash Kapur are even worse and should not be placed in these kind of customer oriented profiles. This has been my mistake and will like to correct it immediately. Would request MARC to refund my amount so that I can purchase from other brands who can provide better after sales service.
