loomis took over from dhl for provincial deliveries in canada .i have prepaid way bills from dhl which they accept .First time i used them my over night delivery took 5 days .They did not know were my envelope was The.Second time i used them they were suppose to pick up an envelope by 5 pm did not show up.If you cant pick up or deliver how can you be a courier company.Know i am stuck with 20 waybills I payed for which are non refundable.I give loomis a zero out of 10 rating.i would not recommend anybody use them.

it's happening to me they never delivered my package they said i wasn't hom which i was hame all day

i have a problem i've been waiting a few days for my package they are lazy the said they were here i was home all day they never even buzzed me how lazy is that i want to get my money back

Loomis is horrible...we had an account with them and when we questioned a billing weight...they came back to us saying that we were under an old rate tarriff

This means that if I wouldn't have used our account number; I would have gotten a better rate because their sales people don't actually update their accounts. I might not be a big fish; but I had good standing with the company.

When we questioned the weight and showed them the quote we got from online; they said that we couldn't use that rate because our account hasn't been updated with the new rate tariffs yet.

Excellent customer service. NOT
Always going above and beyond. NOT

We paid our bill and closed our account.

the worst courier company i have encountered so far! just started to use Loomis and scheduled a pick up online as receiving a pick up number, wait until 5pm (company close at 5 ) and called the rep, she was rudely said since they dont receive msg to pick up my parcel, so either i wait another one hour for driver to come or pick it up tomorrow and send it the day after tomorrow (its an urgent parcel)... and they said even with the pick up number, they dont guarantee anything... also i required 1 day express service, which means pick-up today and delivery it tomorrow. but the information never updated on their online tracking system and it was not delivered within 1 day as promised...the customer service rep's attitudes is always rude and doesnt help you anything at all, except saying before they pick it up they dont guarantee anything... but the true is even they pick it up, they dont guarantee anything. for those who want to use Loomis, just a best wish for you and your parcel sending by Loomis...horrible company ever!

The worst delivery company ever! Walmart.ca started using Loomis after a possible Canada Post Strike a year ago and still using them from time to time nowadays. They just love to blame receiver on any delivery problem even if it was due to the lazy work of their staffs. I have ordered from Walmart.ca for many years and never had any problem with delivery even after several home moves and work changes until they started using Loomis. The delivery person arrived to the address at the front door but never entered the door, there is no buzzer, just have to enter, yet they just took off without delivery and blamed me for not putting my work company name on it. Excuse-me, the package was for myself and with the correct address, how can I put my work company name on it? Purolator, UPS, DHL and Canada Post delivered without any problem for years! What's wrong with them? They also have to understand that many online web stores never requested nor had the space for customers to fill in those information that Loomis claimed they need. Loomis is just setting up a bad name for the delivery industry even Canada Post is better now, or may be Loomis just charged so cheap to major online stores that they don't care.

Loomis are perhaps the most frustrating courier company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

They attempted to deliver a package and left a slip with incomplete information. When I called them the next day they said they'd made another attempt at 11am that morning while my wife and I were both at work.

They said that for them to make another attempt they would bill me another ten dollars for the delivery, even though their delivery slip was incomplete.

As an alternative, they suggested I drive half an hour to their office to get the package, which is located near the airport. Since I don't own a car, and I work until after their offices closes, I told them I couldn't get out there.

They then suggested that I call the shipper and have them resolve the delivery issue.

Probably the worst customer service practice I've ever experience.

I bought a mattress from costco online (payed $75 in shipping). The estimated delivery was Dec 15th, On dec 15 I got a call from Loomis telling me they would be delivering my package on Dec 16th, so I told them I would wait for them outside as I dont have a buzzer (just moved in) and they can't get inside the building without a key and they don't wanna bother giving me a call when they arrive, Then 10 mins later they call again, saying they actually tried delivering on Dec 9 so I would have to go there and pick up my package instead. That is one big load of crap, seriously. I get no notes and no nothing and now I have to pick up a package that doesn't even fit in my small car. So pissed at their service. Not to mention the lady talking on the phone was very rude.

I have called loomis because they are meant to be delivering my passport that holds my work permit seven days ago! Online it says they are unable to deliver in Edmonton, I don't live in Edmonton. I called them for the past five days now because I need my passport to leave the country and they have no idea where it is they keep saying they will call me back and never do. I don't even know what to do now cause it's like screaming at a mute person. Worst customer service EVER it's hard to believe this company is still being used when they are this awful.

I was waiting for my package to be delivered by loomis at my place all morning. When I check on the website the status showed that it was unable to deliver! I was home all morning and waiting for it because I knew it would be deliered that day. I didn't hear the doorbell rang once and I didn't hear any knocks on the door! There was no Unable to Deliver Notice slip on the door at all. I was trying to call the local branch to talk to somebody about the problem but I couldn't find any telephone numbers that worked! I had to call customer service and the lady who I talk to said she would contact the local branch and tell them to call me. I was wasting my money and time for this very poor service!

I RECENTLY USED LOOMIS TO SEND A LARGE ENVELOPE OF IMPORTANT FAMILY DOCUMENTS. NEVER ARRIVED, CANNOT BE TRACED AND/OR FOUND! THIS HAPPENED ONE MONTH AGO.

USE LOOMIS AT YOUR PERIL! WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF MONEY, LOSS OF VALUABLE PROPERTY. LOOMIS EMPLOYS ONLY THE CRIMINAL ELEMENT, OR THOSE TOO LAZY TO ACTUALLY DO THEIR "JOB".

Loomis (formerly DHL) has the worst, worst, WORST service imagineable!
The first hurdle is just to place a pick-up order (NOBODY speaks English)!
Secondly, do not count on your package arriving at its destination on the "promised" date. Thirdly, do not use Loomis to send anything valuable or irreplaceable: at the very least it will arrive damaged; at the worst it will not arrive at all (stolen by thug handlers).

Better off to send your valuable shipment via Canada Post, wrapped in a paper bag!

I had a repair man come to my house to fix my dishwasher a week ago Thursday. The repair man uses loomis to get his parts. He said that he gave the address of his parts supplier for them to deliver the parts too. Instead of bringing the part to the address given, they brought it to his home address. This was a small plastic part about the length of my thumb and about 1/16" thick. The repair man was not home of course. Instead of slipping the part through the mail slot. The driver opted to leave with it and bring it back to the Burnaby depot. When the repair man finally figured out what happened, he called loomis on Wednesday to ask where the part was. They could not find the part and said it would be given back to the driver who in turn would bring it out on Friday. Today is Friday and the part has still not been delivered. So...one week and a day and nothing. This is totally unacceptable and the repair man has lost our business because of his choice to use a looser company like this to do his business with. R. Horrible service & lazy couriers I do not recommend any business to use Loomis as their courier.
My first experience: They didn't buzz my apt and so I never received my package...I had to go to the depot later that night and pick it up. When I arrived there, it turned out they lost my package, couldn't track it nothing. So I had to wait a couple days and hope they find it, which they eventually did but it cost me time, energy, money for something I didn't even get delivered to my door.

Experience #2: I am at home waiting for my package, I see the truck pull up and think great, my package is here and wait for them to buzz. Minutes go by, no buzz and i see the truck leave. I immediately go online to track it and it says, my package was undeliverable. Turns out, my package didn't have a buzzer number on it because its the same as apt number. But instead of punching in 3 numbers and waiting 50 seconds to see if someone picks up, the driver decided to just write out a little undeliverable notification and leave.
I needed this package that day and had to figure out how to go to the depot that night and pick it up by 6:30. It was a Friday and no way could I wait for Monday, because I needed it Saturday and so why I had it courier for next day and the money I put towards something that ended up causing me more problems than it was worth.
Horrible experience and I don't recommend anyone to trust or use this company.
I have deliveries coming in every couple of weeks from UPS, FED ex and even Canada Post and never had any issue like this.
I paid money & wasted time on a company who twice didn't come through like they're supposed to.

The people at their call centre are completely useless. I couldn't even get a yes or no answer from them if they do Saturday deliveries to my city or not!
