This company repeatedly calls my house (unreasonably too early in the A.M. and too late in the P.M) asking for a person that does not reside at my address. When asked how they got my number or why they are calling me for another person they will not give me any information of how they link me to the person the are trying to reach and the representatives working for this company then become very rude and have hung up on me several times, even after I inform them that they are harassing me, that my number is unlisted and their calls are unwanted.

I am on a non-solicitor list with the FTC and have even made a complaint against this company with the FTC and have told this company I have done so but still continue to harass my household. I sent them a cease and desist letter also to no avail.

This company is apparently a collection agency that unfair practices by harassing innocent people into getting the person they are looking for to pay their debts. These type of practices go on all the time with collection agencies and their should be laws preventing them from doing so. How they got my number or how they link me to the person they are trying to reach is very questionable and they refuse to answer any of my questions while demanding to know information from me to use against their intended victim.

I told my insurance agent I did not exchange info with any one . And that it is a fraudulent claim not to process it . And to give me the crooks info so I can notify the authority'.! Long story short My agent said that if Progressive denies this claim on my behalf that they come after me personally !😩😩 Well I lost my license fours a year for not filling out a incident report with the DMV well what incident the one that was fraudulent and never happened yes next time ill fill it out blank one

I too have worked for this company and sadly I have to say that they do send in requests for the suspension of a drivers license and revocation of tags. However you all have a legit reason to complain as Mrs. Byrd the owner employs these rude people. The history of Insurex Inc. has been nothing but drama from day one. From a Human Resource Manager that made racist remarks to other employees to an IT man that liked to molest little girls. I really don't have anything nice to say about this company, especially the way I was treated in the end. However I am glad they decided to lay me off because the drama and tension was unreal in the administration area. The lady that puts in the requests for the suspension is nothing but a pot head that even has sold drugs on the premises (even though she will lie through her teeth and say that is not true and others have seen her do it as well as I have). You all should be very leary about dealing with this agency as this is the most unprofessional place I've ever had the displeasure of working for.

I used to work for the company and unfortunately not everyone speaks to people with respect. I can tell you that the license suspension is real and legal. You can also have your tags revoked. It is against the law to not have at the minimum liability and that is why they can and do file for the suspensions. I don't have anything good or bad to say about the company but just wanted to say that alot of what the collectors say will and does happen.

I too, have had an issue with Insurex. My husband was driving my car in Dec of 2010. A young driver was speeding and he was switching lanes while she was trying to cut around us. Shocker, my insurance only covers me not my husband, so we were blamed for the accident and had to pay 1100 for a small dent. no physical damage. Anyways, after a YEAR of calling progressive to make payments and repeatedly asked for the paper that states the payment agreement they never sent it. I wasnt blindly making payments especially for a 1100 fender bender. Anyways, I finally got a hold of someone this year in October. Guess what?! My "claims rep" no longer worked there and they "had no information to contact me" even though I have a policy with them! My claim got sent to a collection company called 'insurex". I payed them in full after my registration and husbands license was suspended. I have spent 2 weeks trying to get them to send me a paper stating I payed them off to lift my suspension. I was told I had to fax copies of my checks, and the papers that the dmv sent suspending out license and registration. This is totally crazy. Even the supervisor told me I payed them off! So why do I have to jump through so many hoops for a company whom to me seems to have taken my money and ran. Even the dmv told me "progressive was non compliant and wasn't really releasing people after they payed them off." I think someone needs to start a lawsuit. I am so ready to. I have kids and a full time job. I need my car to get to work. I am cancelling my policy with progressive, and hope to end this soon so I never have to hear them again!

on december 24, 2009 i had slid on some ice and slightly rear ended the person infront of me i was going less than five miles per hour so there was very little damage done. i unfortunately had a small lapse in my ins as well and told the other person i would pay for the damage out of my own pocket . and a few months after that i recieved a bill from progressive stating that i owed over 2, 400$ so reciently i have been able to pay this amount. so i called up progressive to find out that they added an additional 7, 000 $ and that because i couldn't pay the full amount i was unable to pay that amount and i would have to call insurex and no one has even sent me a bill. so i called up the insurex company and they told me to western union the money to texas and that they would start helping me take car of this debt. well its been two months now and they are calling me every day on my phone, at my job, my parents and even my grandparents. im on the verge of losing my job because they are harrasing me because i do not have the money to pay this bill nor will i pay because i have not recieved a bill for this amount they claim i owe... so i decided to look to see if this was a scan and turns out that it is i hope other people are smarter than i was an avoid what i am going threw right now... good luck to you

I had an accident on February 23, 2010, at the time my insurance had lapsed so I was not covered. I completely understand that I am responsible for paying this, I should have had my insurance, BUT, when they first contacted me I made the initial payment of $1557, in order to keep my license. I never received anything in writing, and I have never received any sort of statement for the rest of the balance. Miss Morgan, the woman I had been talking has always been very nice to me, she called yesterday, I'm assuming to set up my payment, but I wasn't home. I tried to call her back this morning and was told that she wouldn't be available until 11 am central time. The woman I was speaking to asked if I wanted to leave a message and I said no I would just call back. At 11:30 when I called back Miss Morgan still wasn't available and when I asked if I could leave a message the woman said, "no, you already have.", I said, "no I didn't." She said, " the numbers don't lie, you already left her one message this morning." I said, "no I called, but I didn't leave a message." She said very rudely, " you called and said you didn't want to leave a message, but I sent it anyway." I was very nice to these people, I understand that some people are rude to them, but she had no right to talk to me this way! When I first received the threats to take my license I called the Ohio BMV to see if they could actually take it, and the girl told me yes, but I honestly wonder if she knew what she was talking about seeing as how she was very rude herself! Is there anything I can do? I have a feeling that even once I pay this thing off these people aren't going to do THEIR jobs and take care of it! My email is bb345399@ohio.edu, if any of you know what I should do please email me and let me know!

Has anyone dealing with this complete scam of a company ever complained to any agency and gotten relief? My son had a minor accident for which the insurance company turned him into insurex to collect the debt. They had him Western Union 500.00 and told him they would release his license...surprise surprise, they didn't then some how they talked him into automatically withdrawing money from his account then would release his license, and they haven't. They keep giving him some story about his account rep isn't there, the supervisor has to do it but he is out, in a meeting, unavailable. He is facing jail time if he doesn't produce his license in court and they are never going to help him. Please email me with any agency or help anyone has been able to get. My email is missyclementz@ymail.com. Thank you in advance

Assurex.. I currently have Shante Lucas, Houston Texas [protected] or [protected] ext 262. She address' herself as Mrs. Lucas. She is 65 years old not "165". That title should be earned according to level of education or degree? She has been calling for Progressive Insurance for a "Collection" she denies its not a collection company from experience its a collection company! for Progressive insurance. She called to collection $1042.00 for an auto vandalism I have no clue about she claims there are going to file a Judgment aginst me. The is pending so I will follow up.

I talk to a lady name Kathy Morgan today who wanted me to called her miss Morgan(who the hell she think she is), harrassing me and threating me with the insurance calling DMV and reporting me to them for being an uninsured user at the time, even though the person i accidentally bump into had gotten the deductable me in court already and the court already said tht nothing was going to happen to my license. They r rude and need to know that if a person can only pay a certain amount, at least they r getting paid. How dare they. I do want to find out what i can do about this harrassment.

As for my above comment, I learned that a vehicle was involved in an accident that my father had sold about 2 years prior to the accident. If the continues I will have a hayday with an attorney.

I recieved mail from Insurex today, stating that I owe $2, 100 to Progressive for an accident. The Date of lost is for March of 2008. Funny I haven't had an accident in about 11 years, when that happened it was completely taken care of. Also I do not carry Progressive, and to top it off, I have been out of the United States for the past 3 years. I will waite and see what happens, if need be a will be in contact with an attorney.

My family recieved mail from Insurex saying that we hit a parked car in a location that we have never been to! They constantly send mail telling us that we need to pay this amount which is around $460. So finally we called to see what was wrong and they say keep insisting we hit this car, that their "client" says they saw us. We ask if we can talk to the "client" but the lady says she cant give out any information. And then we ask if she even knows the color of the car and she says NO and hangs up! And recently we recieve a mail saying if we didnt pay the amount in FIVE days that they will have to proceed with a litigation! Well we didnt do ANYTHING so we also are not going to succumb to insurex demands!

About 4 years ago I rear-ended someone and I had no insurance. I set up payment plays with that ladies insurence but it was going to take me to long to pay it off so they turned me over to Insurex. These people are RUDE! I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect. I could only afford $50 a month but hey... I was paying right? Well that was ok for the first year then I started getting calls from Mr. Hendrix that I had to up my payments by 17% evey 6 months and I had to give them check numbers becuase sending in my own check was not ok anymore. He is the rudest person I have ever talked to in my life. I realize their job is to collect debt but from day one I have been paying. I have got nothing but harrassed by this company and I cant wait to clean my hands of this. I asked for something in writting telling me that they 'dont accept $50 payments anymore' like i was told and Mr. Hendrix told me legally they dont have to give me anything in writting. I will be contacting an attorny to see what my legal rights are as far as paying this off.

In September of 2007, while I was stll 17 years of age, I got into a car accident. My parents had canceled my insurance the day prior without disclosing that information to me. Insurex strangarmed me into an illegal unbinding agreement without my approval, or signature agreeing to pay the amount requested. Insurex calls threatening me, saying they will contact the MVD if I do not pay the amount. They claim that my lisence will be suspended. The representative that deals with my case is Mrs.Riles. She is a rude woman, and whenever I address and issue with her, she ignores it and harrasses me. At the age of 17 when the accident occurred I am not responsible for the damages because I wasn't an adult, and this collection agency harrasses many other people illegally. I will be contacting an attorney, and the better bussiness bureau.

We are having a big problem with Insurex who is threatening to contact our state DMV to have my husband's drivers license revoked unless we reimburse their client, Progressive Ins. for the damages to their insured's auto. It was not our truck that was involved in the "fender bender" (in aparking lot). It was our son's truck and he had loaned it to a friend for the day. My husband, however, is a co-signer on our son's truck loan. We believe it was Progressive's insured who caused the accident but since our son did not have insurance on the vehicle at the time, they are using this against us to try to force us to pay the damages to the other vehicle!
The Insurex rep calls daily, harrassing and threatening us. She is very rude and demanding, insisting that it makes no difference that their client is at fault, because "we" had broken the law by not having insurance, so "WE" should pay! The charge is almost $1, 600!
Our son "thought" he had insurance at the time, but did not, (as he has several vehicles). He does have it now!
It seems to me that if the other driver caused the accident, her insurance should pay for her auto repairs!...NOT US! We are NOT succumbing to Insurex's demands!
Good luck to you!
