IGE.com never delivered

i bought 20 dollars in world of warcraft gold. It has been 2 weeks and they didnt deliver. I got emails from them saying they are working on it. They said 48 hours. I am glad i did a test for 20 vs the 200. I went to another supplier 6k and they sent it in less than 24 hours. I still am mad that i am out 20 dollars and my time talking to them.
DOnt buy . My guess it that they either wait until they get a few orders on that server because it cost 15 a month to play and my order was 20. Or they didnt have any in the "bank" and no one to farm it.
Just avoid, simple .

IGE.com Completely non-responsive, and unreachable

To start off right at the point, I use PayPal for all my internet purchases. This site is so bad that even with an open claim with PayPal, they come up with excuse after excuse to excuse their obligation to deliver paid for goods that have been confirmed. The money for my purchased item has been confirmed by PayPal and was already removed from my bank account. The site guarantees 24 hour deliver, since most people who buy these goods don't have the time to "grind" for them. It has been over 72 hours, and this site has become completely non-responsive, and unreachable. There is no live help, or contact, and they are all Chinese. I want the world to know of this site and their rude replies back to me through PayPal. They want to take your money and run. Not only did they not deliver, but they also sent me a virus attached to an email with a Keylogger attached, to boot. This company hides behind their internet name, with malicious side hack attempts to steal your personal information. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

IGE is a ripoff for sure. I purchased gold that I was told was delivered and I received nothing. After several online chats I was told that they delivered and I was out of luck. I would not use this service under any circumstances. I was told they couldn't guarantee delivery.

Buying/selling gold is illegal. You know it, they know it. What you are doing is illegal and what they are doing is illegal.

Now knowing that, how can anyone be suprised they are acting like crooks?

I wish I read this site before order 10, 000 gold. If I don't receive the gold I ordered in 24 hours as I was promised by their 24 hour live chat I will just call my credit card company and inform them of the scam and get my money back.

I just wanted to say for the sake of fairness, that my experience with them was excellent. I received the product in about 16 hours. I read this board after I ordered drunkenly last night and started getting nervous, but I have absolutely no complaints. I'm sorry to hear that some have had bad experiences, but I should point out to people that are reading that they served me fairly and quickly. That's all.

I can't agree or disagree with them I have bought from ige before a few times and never once had an issue with them. But I have stopped buying gold all together since I learned how to make it easily in game. I have to admit buying gold is a shorcut to get what you want when you want it.
But I bought 10k gold once just to get a pair of epic 1h swords I really wanted and guess what in 2 weeks of getting them running raids I replaced them. what a waste of real hard earned money that was.

If I was patient enough I could of done dailies and made 400g in about an hour with just doing my quests and running heroics. I could of gotten some decent weapons.
Other reason I stopped purchasing gold is because when they send you it thru in game mail it can be filtered by blizzard and not be recieved by you. This has happened to a few of my friends that continued to buy gold and ige promptly sent them a new batch of gold. For all of you that feel ripped off by Ige or any of the other gold sellers. My answer to you is this Learn how to make it yourself and keep that money and buy something in real life like a an IPod or a new graphics card lol..

If you want head over to worldofwarcraftreview.com they give free tips on making gold.
Or you can buy some gold guides there are ton on the market and some are better than others but at least if they use clickbank as there payment process you can get your money back. usually takes 2-3 days to get a refund.

Well, I requested a refund today through PayPal after seeing the comments on this board. It had been 12 hours and I was already starting to get nervous. I figured I'd have to fight with both Paypal and my credit card company to avoid paying for something I never received. To my surprise, IGE refunded my money within a few hours of the dispute being filed, no questions asked. Now I feel like I might have overreacted. But it all comes down to setting expectations with customers. If IGE can't deliver for a week or two or even four, they shouldn't imply on their web site that deliveries are almost immediate. It makes people start freaking out almost immediately.

So, why doesn't everybody just refuse to pay the charge on their credit card bill? If you (or your parents) have a good credit score and tell the issuing bank that you were ripped off, they will probably give you a credit.

I ordered from them last night and am already getting buyer's remorse. But I'm pretty sure that my credit-card issuer will back me if I refuse to pay. I hope the gold shows up, but at this point I doubt that it will.

I have ordered from IGE for both EQ2 and WoW and NEVER had an issue getting what I ordered. One time they mailed the gold on WoW and sometimes blizzard does snag those orders. If you dont believe that ask my friend that got his account banned for ordering gold. Anyways, when I didnt recieve I contacted them and they did a face to face delivery. If you are on they will deliver directly to you on WoW. If your not on they will re-mail you the gold no questions asked, and sometimes with a little bonus gold. On EQ they always mail the platinum, but I have never had issues, and usually get it within 1-2 hours. WoW gold delivery times vary from server to server. All you people complaining are probably expecting instant delivery and posting here after an hour. Think about how many people world wide are ordering from them at any given time, and how much gold they must go through. You gotta give them a little break on the delivery times. I get aggrivated sometimes if it takes a day to get what I ordered but I always get it. I have had problems with WoWmine and THSale though. THSale actually got my account perma-banned so if you want to talk about shady online gaming sales sites look no further than them. IGE however has and always has been my one stop shop for online gaming currency. Matter of fact, the reason I am here is because I typed www.ige.com in the search engine box instead of the web address box on IE and it brought up a list of IGE related things, this being one. I thought I would post my 2 cents, and then be on my way to order some more EQ2 plat from them.

Purchased 3000G from them.

got the confirm e-mail saying it was being processed.

26 hours later 1260G was delivered. That was 3 days ago, and i have received nothing more.

Their claimed "live chat" is an automated e-mail system that sends you automated replies. Twice contected them via this system and twice i received not a similar.. but the EXACT SAME response.

"Thank you for informing us that you have received the 1260 gold.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. I acknowledge that we have yet to meet our commitment to you. No excuses.

The remaining 1740 gold is still being processed. Although we are unable to confirm an exact delivery time, we always assure you the completion of your order. We ask for your patience and one more opportunity to prove ourselves worthy of your business. As soon as we have the gold in stock, we will deliver your order.

I googled their site, and it became IMMEDIATELY apparent (as it would to anyone that does the same) that they have created a bunch of "review" sites of their own site. its obvious because the language is exactly the same on all of them, and even some of the graphics are the same (5 star graphic etc etc) and of course all these "review" sites state that they are the biggest and best, even Ironically... mention this site BY NAME stating: "IGE has been absent from complaints boards for almost a year now. They have a reputation of safe vendor. " this "review" mind you is dated last month...

Long story short, worthless ###, doesn't deliver, ignores requests for refunds. writes their own reviews of themselves to cover up their horrid reputation.

It's been 3 days since I placed my order and I have to receive it. I have sent multiple emails to their customer service and they all been ignored. They pulled the money from my account. This is ridiculous. I have been courteous with my questions to no avail. I'm looking into ways to get my money back.

IGE.com Customer service and delivery

Ige.com has in the past been very fast and reliable. I will give them that. However, it has become increasingly hard to get them to deliver any orders for Everquest currency within a reasonable time frame. It seems Everquest platinum is always out of stock, and this is something they do not bother informing their customers of before you have already placed your order and payed. Granted, I did have a look around the other similar sites, and it seems they all suffer from this problem. However, at least they provided me with a live chat option in which I could ask a real life person to check for me. I received replies telling me to either order now and be prepared to wait, or check back later.

When I contacted ige.com's customer service (only available through mail) I was initially happy to see that I got a swift response. That is, until I realized that it was nothing but a standard pre-written reply that in no way answered my questions. I simply asked for any kind of approximation of when my currency might be available, and got the reply that my order was being processed. I rephrased, sent another email in which I went to great length in order to explain that I did not want to sit in the Bazaar waiting an entire night; if they expected long delays, I would like to know this so that I could log off and do something else. I got the reply that my order was being processed. I tried again, this time writing in such a fashion that a child could understand the question I asked, and I got the response that my order was being processed.

Note that the three replies I received were all different standard replies. The phrasing was slightly different, and the third one was considerably more apologetic than the first. But none of the replies gave any hint as to how long it might take.

Ige.com needs to do two things;

A. They need to stop promising face-to-face speedy delivery if they cannot provide it. They should focus on off line delivery instead.
B. They need to clearly state before hand when the currency the customer wished to buy is not currently available.

The fact of the matter is, they are selling something they do not have. That comes pretty close to fraud in my book. They should not be charging their customers paypal accounts until they can in fact guarantee delivery.

Hiya Slyna, about IGE not selling something they do not have. The agent told me that they "technically don't hold stock but they have a steady source of currency from their suppliers". So yeah they might not have the gold on hand but their suppliers do and they could easily reserve the amount you need or something like that. Bottom line is, they are able to give you your gold. So I ordered from IGE and they gave me the 3000 gold within 3 hours.

i agree with chelsea. ige.com is the least painful seller to deal with. not perfect but at leas they give you your money back if you ask for it. their reps are easier to understand too. lol

This is the latest complaint against IGE that I can find and comment on. Anyhoooo, I'm sorry that you didn't have the same great experience I've been having since I started ordering from IGE 3 months ago. After trying several sites that only scammed me out of my money, I struck gold with IGE. This is what I've observed since I first bought from them in August:

- They have the best chat support team. Unfailingly polite and helpful. Can't say I've ever been lost in translation with them.

- The emails do appear auto-generated but what company doesn't use pre-written messages? I can live with that, as long as I get what I pay for.

- There are occassional hiccups in their deliveries but they ALWAYS stay true to their word: 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. I can't say the same thing about the other sites like Oofay.com who insisted that they delivered (when they actually didn't) and refused to give me back my $20, not to mention one of the Oofay customer service reps accused me of trying to scam them!

- Luckily, I never had to ask for a refund from IGE. I always got my gold. A few orders were delivered within the day and a few took more than a day. BUT I ALWAYS GOT MY GOLD.

- IGE's customer service is honest enough to tell me if I'm going to have to wait a bit longer than usual. Today I chatted with their agent Frannie who told me that there's a backlog in my realm, which means I can expect a delay. Now THAT is what I'd call SETTING THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS.

IGE isn't perfect but I'd rather deal with them than anyone else.

Hey sorry that you had trouble, it's happened to all of us before.

In the future if you are checking for virtual currency vendors to try to avoid getting scammed check out this site that I found:

It lists full consumer-reports-like vendor reviews of all of the top vendors, and has a pretty sweet price matching feature along with some graphs. That way you can find the cheapest prices along with the best customer service for all the major MMO's. I've had great gold purchasing experiences since I started using it.

IGE.com Online thieves

I used IGE.COM and after a week of no delivery, I asked for a full refund. The next day I got an email from PayPal saying my refund was made. I sent it to PayPal and they confirmed that the email was a spoof. A FAKE! So not only did IGE.COM defraud and steal from me, they impersonated PayPal and involved/tarnished the reputation of PayPal for letting them use there service for the illegal activities. It now begs the question, why would PayPal let IGE.COM continue to use them when the have confirmation that they are crooks? Wouldn't that make PayPal crooks as well or at least accessories to the theft?

IGE.com Fraud, deceptive practices!

IGE are Frauds! Wow, where do I start. They are selling a product they don't have in stock. There "live 24/7 support" is an automated email response that doesn't answer questions or concerns. They promise instant delivery, it has been days and I have not received my product. They claim they will refund your money, but conveniently don't answer those requests.

They have stolen from me. If anyone else is considering them DO NOT.

If you are considering a lawsuit, count me in...

I made a purchase and 3 days later at their web site it still says Delivery in progress After i have asked for a Total Refund. DON'T USE IGE , internet ROBBERS, I need a Lawyer for these people.

i totally agree with you, IGE is a fraud, bad service.I ordered 3000 gold from them and it never showed up. I placed the order after I double checked on their live chat that they had the gold in stock but it still turns out to be no gold. I asked them why this. Different customer representitives gave me different stories, such as the stock was banned, the gold was given to some other character because I was not online, etc. But the problem is I was online 5 hours a day. I got work. Do they expect customers to be online 24 hours? I got to know that these are all just excuses. They offer something they don't have to sale and lied about it. So I decided to ask for a refund. Out of my expectation, the customer service online still told me to wait for some more time and refuse to give me the refund. As there is no optition left for me, I filed a dispute on paypal. So if you don't want to waste time and money, stay away from them. very bad service.

I used IGE and afte a week of no delivery, I asked for a full refund. Next day I got an email from PayPal saying my refund was made. I sent it to PayPal and they confirmed it. The email was a spoof. FAKE. So not onl did IGE defraud and steal from me, they impersinated PayPal and involved/tarneshed the reputation of PayPal for letting them use there service. It now begs the question does why would PayPal let IGE continue to use them when the have confirmation that they are crooks? Wouldnt that make PayPal crooks as well?

I have the same opinion so far. Actually oofay at least has delivered HALF of the gold i purchased so far, IGE has delivered NONE of it. ( bought from both on the same weekend to check out whats wrong in the gold farming sites currently, as every site is delayed in deliveries it seems).

IGE.com Fraud and cheating!

Just to let you guys know, I was just scammed by IGE.com. I tried to buy 5000g and they said it would take some time for them to get the gold. Of course they tell me this AFTER I paid for it and AFTER they confirmed via chat that the gold was in stock. Finally, after 36 hours, some guy sends me a tell in broken english demanding that I meet him in goldshire. I was in MC at the time but he refused to mail the gold. So, I leave the MC run, meet up with the guy and he gives me 745g and says he'll have the rest shortly. Over the next few days, I got emails with small sums of gold that totaled 3900g. When I contacted thsale.com via their chat room, they refused to help.

Beware people!

I was also ripped off from ige. The only gold selling site i'll ever use is oxpg.com. You get your gold in 10 min after you ordered it. Plus a real customer service rep talks to you the whole time while your order is being processed. A+++

IGE.com Failed to deliver product!

Don't use Ige.com! If you buy gold for the online game WoW (World of Warcraft) do not use Ige.com. They may appear to be reputable by the number of sites that seem to endorse them, but don't trust them.

They only delivered about 1/2 the gold they had promised and only after weeks of complaining to them. And they have refused to give me a refund for the rest that they have not delivered. This after 2 months!

And they LIE to me claiming that they have delivered more gold when in fact they did not deliver any at all. This company, Ige.com, is a ripoff and should be investigated for fraud and deceptive business practices.

And PayPal was of no use either in trying to settle this. After asking Ige.com 5 or 6 times now (2 months) for a refund they won't do it and instead continue to pretend that they are trying to fulfill my order.

Don't use Ige.com, you'll be sorry if you do!

I am very unsatisfied with IGE. I ordered plat on 05/03/2008. Its 05/23/2008 and still no delivery. At 3 different times I requested a refund, and was told they were still processing my order each time, and they ignored the fact I requested a refund. Today is the 4th request, I said I didn't want anymore excuses, just refund the money. We will see what happens.

yeah, compared to the other sites that sell online currency such as igxe (a total ripoff), ige is waaaaaay better. hey, i am not promoting ige, i am just being honest here. these guys may not be perfect, but in my book, they are the most reliable online currency website out there.

I ordered 1000 gold for the game World of warcraft. my character **** is on the server shadow council and when I asked in live chat before ordering I was told they had adequate funds to me my request. I was told that I would receive it more than likely within an hour but to be patient as it can take up to 24 hours at times. It has been several days and I have not received that which I paid for. All and all I am very disappointed in what I believed was a reputable company. Thank goodness that PayPal is here to mediate. The websites order number is 422********. I would like this to be resolve by getting that which I paid for If not I suppose I will seek a refund.

I also ordered a good amount of gold on Jan 1st or 2nd. I got a partial delivery a day or so later, but I still haven't had a completion. I tracked my order often to see what was happening, which was just "Processing". I sent a letter a week ago and was assured the rest would come in Very Soon. I tracked my order again today, and I see that it is Cancelled. I sure didn't cancel it. I say a big WTF to this. I had ordered gold through them a few times before with no trouble, which is why it's so confusing.

Anyway, yeah. Don't order from IGE until you find out if they're getting better or not.

i ordered 2000g recently in early january and it is now 1/26/08 and still havent received anything. i got about 30 emails saying same thing, that they're sorry that they missed
my in-game world of warcraft order
