I was attempting to purchase a breeding pair of caucasian shepards from the above breeder. Over two months, I sent a deposit of 3700 dollars towards 5500 dollars. based upon a contract, the above breeder agreed to transport the pair to knoxville, tennessee. Upon arrival on August 23, the breeder related that my accomodations were not suitable for his caucasian shepards. Mr. Vasili Platunov related I would not give the dogs the love they need. He could not elaborate how love. Because I was leasing property from someone else, I allowed Mr. Vasili to leave with the dogs without any trouble. He related he would return only 2500 dollars out of 3700. Vasili related he was charging me for kenneling and transporting the dogs. I stated you can not charge me for two dogs you refused to give to me. I did not refuse to take the dogs. You refused to give me the dogs. Subsequently, I related he should have to return the entire 3700 dollars. To this date, he has refused to return my money. Because the color of my skin, I feel the breeder refused to sell me the dog. Again, this is my opinion. If any this complaint report could help me retrieve my money, I would be forever thankful. i do not want to do any harm to the breeder, but I just want my money returned as soon as possible. Hi - I am writing into this argument - because I own 9 of Vasill's Dogs - and I live in another Country - and from my personal experience with Vasilli and his wife - and assistant is they are the most honorable and genuine people I have ever meet - A Man of Honor - the lengths they went to ensure that all the pups that I bought from them went to a good Quarantine station that gave myself access to the pups - But Vasilli's care and love for these dogs goes beyond what is required - Vasilli's is the Owner / Breeder of these dogs and he clearly outlines his expectations of what he wants of everyone who want to have one of his dogs / puppies - So for Vasilli to refuse you to own one of his puppies - I would not question his reason - it would because you were in direct violation of his stated rules as per his website and his contract and given that Vasilli - takes extremely good care and ensures everybody gets a Pup / Dog from him in the absolute best condition then - you may want to Go and ask a Veterinarian or someone who has to feed their dogs - I know Vasilli - he spends at least 20 hours out of a 24 hour period taking care of his dogs - That is a person whose intentions are pure and I would happily stand up and say you may need to consider that you your approach on life is wrong and speak with Vasilli instead of coming out here and attacking this man without any good reason - except drumming up support to attack a good man - because you did the wrong thing - And it have sent a copy to Vasilli - and if Vasilli needs my support - I would happily give it - even fly to USA and testify in Court against you - So - consider leaving Vasilli alone and take your medicine - Your got caught and were deceitful to start with - Either speak to Vasilli or drop it!~
I own one of Vasilli's dogs. I had previously purchased a dog from another Caucaian Ovcharka breeder (that breeder's dog was genetically defective). I can personally attest to the outstanding service and quality of Vasillis dogs. My current Ovcharka is two years old and I have never had anything but outstanding service from Est-Alfa and Vasilli.
Vasili Platunov is the most ethical breeder I have ever met. In your case, you refused to take the dogs for months due to your situation. When he arrived to deliver the pups PERSONALLY - he found you to be a backyard breeder and deemed you an unfit environment for a Caucasian. He still kenneled those dogs for you because of YOUR situation - not his. This is all spelled out in his contract. You are the one who misrepresented YOURSELF - so you should pay. I have 4 of Vasili's dogs to protect ranch and stock and he is one of the FEW breeders who would take the time to check in on their welfare. As for your claim of RACIAL bias - it's complete BS - he has a client base as diverse as it can get - race, creed, orientation. Dude, you know you are a backyard breeder - so you try to dicredit the real deal. Vasili Platunov is as honest and straightforward as the day is long. His dogs are have the best working minds and temperaments on the continent.
