East Commerce Solutions has give us terrible service. They changed terms once they were agreed to by raising the rates which we had in writing, adding fees we were not told of in advance and not returning calls about any of these issues.
This company told us that we did not need to fill out multiple PCI forms and then proceeded to fee us for not filling out these same forms. When we attempted to contact them they told us that we received bad info from them. Basically they are still charging us for these fees three months later, not returning calls about it and giving us rude service when we do get them on the phone.
We have filled out numerous forms to cancel service which has taken almost a month now and is still not cancelled. They are charging us a cancellation fee which was stated in the contract to be waived.
I could go on and on about how rude they have been and how many lies this company has told us but it's boring, the point is do not do business with them unless you like fees, rude service, and the run around. They will be out of business in no time with this type of customer service. Beware!

Too Noremacm3, this is an employee of the company. This Company is a complete joke, as well as the ownership, on the surface they seem to be decent people. Behind the curtain they are lying, vindictive, controlling manipulating human beings. It is all a scam, don't do business with the likes of this company and it's ownership.

I can only concur with the negative comments. 4 of us as independent contractors shared a terminal so that monies could go directly into our individual bank accounts. We dealt with 4 complete sets of charges and fees even though we all used the same terminal. That would have been fine if the fees remained steady, but they did not. When an ECS account rep was making cold calls in our building I had an opportunity to share that we were all thinking about jumping ship, she suggested that we each call and request a rate review to see if we were getting the best rates. (Notice she didn't offer to assist us and place the request for us - she had us do it.) They were able to reduce some of the percentages by a small bit, but were unable to address any of the myriad fees that drove the cost up. I canceled the service last November and also closed the bank account associated with the merchant account. I still received bills for the inactive account sent to both my office and my home in January. (Their customer service has taken care of that!) A co-worker who also canceled service in November just called me 15 minutes ago looking for their phone number because they just withdrew $75 from her account even though they previously confirmed that there would be no charges after last December. I won't even go into the lack of response from their sales team several years ago . . best left forgotten. Any other option would be at least as good as East Coast Solutions - particularly if you are a small business doing $2k or less monthly via credit card.

I have to say if your looking for a good cheap service East commerce solutions is not bad, but do not try to cancel service just close the bank account or you will get charged months after it was suppose to end.Now if you ever worked for this company you will know already that they hire you for 90 days and unless you can produce massive leads on your own you will get fired.East commerce solutions is a very bad place to work .They will use you for what they can and get rid of you like your a # not a person. The owner seems very religious and says its great to be alive and we should not take one day of life for granted. What a bunch of poop. The leads given to get new business are garbage it says new business list even though the business have up for years, by the time you call these new businesses the owners have signed merchant accounts weeks ago.You have no shot of getting the results this company wants out of you, so unless you have no options DO NOT APPLY TO THIS COMPANY, AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICES THEY OFFER THEY WILL LIE TO YOU.

I am forwarding this email to you so you can see what kind of customer service your company really provides. I want to take a moment and remind you of the several phone calls you made to me in order to come to my HOME and talk with me. During our conversations, I made if very clear I was paying 21.95 with intuit and I was not going to move if it was going to cost me more. You sat at my dining room table, looked me in the eye and told me that this was not going to cost more. You then made several other promises, such as next day funding, etc.. I signed my contract with you for 10.00 a month. That was our deal. You handed me a letter from the president of your company guaranteeing me 100% customer satisfaction or I could cancel. YOU SAT IN MY HOME AND MADE THESE PROMISES. Now, after six months of trying to cancel the service and some ### other fees totaling 59.00 I am paying 70.00 a month for a service I used to pay 21.95 for.

You know what you sold me and this ain’t it. I told you I do less than a 1000.00 dollars and you said “NO PROBLEM”. You and your company are did nothing more than bait and switch, I did not sign in my contract for any additional fees and according to my attorney, when your company did that, they invalidated any current contracts. I expect to have mine cancelled and my monies refunded.

Tammy in Sales just called me...I work for another processor. She claimed to be getting info for some people she 'does the books' for. I was on to her pretty quickly, but had already faxed her our rates. I called back (caller ID, I love you), and she answered the sales line and when I asked her if she got the fax I sent, she stuttered...claimed she doesn't work for this processing company. Nice fishing...

I used East Commerce Solutions for over 1 year before they no longer had a rep in my area to help me and also had sold me 2 machines that were NOT PCI compliant when they new they had to be PCI compliant. They charged me $195 Elevon cancellation fee, it was in the fine print but just another way for bansk to screw people. Then ECS charged anotehr $150 cancel fee. I NEVER agreed to this in writing, i was never told about this and never should have been charged this. I want my $150 refunded NOW! We are a very small business and the fees you were charging us were killing us. Now you want MORE money? FOR WHAT! if you didnt do the processinga nd elevon did then WHY do you need a fee? WTF did you do? You all shoudl be sued! your paperwork says early termination MAY be charged a fee! WTF its desont say how much! and it doesnt say when or if! I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS! i'm giving it to my lawyer! you cant charge people fees you dont tell them about! thsi is bullSH&%! ALL you banks who got TARP money and screw over customers can go to hell. you got % from me and my charges why do you need more money? Frank @ rainsavers of maryland [protected]

They just illegal withdrew $395.00 from my business account in the form of a check, and an another check for $150.00. I got them to provide me in writing that I could cancel at any time...bad mistake on their part. I'm going to present all of this evidence to my bank if they will not refund me the money. Stay away from a crook used car salesman by the name of Mark Zoller. Fast talking game and nothing but lies. I should have trusted my gut and all the reviews all over the internet. Stay FAR away from these cocaroaches.

I WILL be a customer for life. Don't see myself retiring anytime soon and even when I do, my 3 year contract will long be over with. Can't promise the next owner will stay with ECS but I will strongly suggest they do. Anyways, don't have time to argue with you people. ECS is a great company. My sales rep is great, the rates haven't been beaten, ever, and the service is great (not that i can even remember the last time i needed something since everything runs smoothly). Much love ECS!

I also WAS a happy customer for years. When I tried to cancel my service that's when it all changed. I also have a construction business and my sales rep was great. When I canceled my service I called him direct and he helped me close out my accounts. I even had my new merchant service company help in the cancellation process. If you are happy with this company now be careful later. You will not be a customer for life one day you will want to retire correct? at that time you will need to stop using ECS and good luck trying to close your account. This is a typical scam these guys do they tell you to send in all your closing papers and the account will be closed. Then Months later after they keep billing your bank they say they never received the correct paper work. The only way to stop them is to close your bank account. I called My rep George as soon as I found out about my problem and he confirmed to me he had scanned copies of all the closing paper work. He is now no longer with the company today? At that time I had to deal with Jonathan Arthur Assistant Vice President who told me too bad we never received to paper work? But he did confirm he knew they were billing me on three different banks for 9 months PRETTY COOL? (this is the way these guys do business) I have called and tried to speak to the owner good luck. All I can tell a new customers is buyer beware. Do you research first if you want to call me please feel free [protected]

I have to strongly disagree with these negative claims. I have a construction business and have been using East Commerce Solutions for our processing for about 5 years. Everything the rep promised me, ECS has delivered on. My rates haven't increased and my service is great. The rep who signed me up still calls me periodically to this day to make sure I am happy. I am sorry to whomever has had bad experiences with them. I guess every customer is different but I am completely satisfied and will be a customer for life!

I am writing to let you know about my recent experience in dealing with East Commerce Solutions. On March 3 2009 I canceled my service with your company (Credit card Processing) I was a client for 7 years prior. I signed up with them in 2002. I spoke to George V to cancel my service I was told I was no longer in a contract and my accounts would be closed. I sent in the cancellation letters and paper work. A year later you are still charging my bank account $30 plus a month on three different companies, Painting Plus, Inc. Gutters Plus, Inc. and Dumpsters Plus, Inc. This is theft.
I called George and complained. All I have received from you is back talk and how they cannot help me. Mr. George Valentine told me he had all proper paper work and my account should have never been billed. I was told he would call me back. He did not. I called back and waited on hold for 15 minutes and finally spoke with an employee by the name of "Jonathan Arthur", I was told my account would be taken care of but still nothing has been done about this problem. I spoke to several people in your company about this issue. However, I was told that nothing could be done. I have since been charged an additional $150 for my account cancellation. I called and was told I was under a contract how is that possible when I have been a past client for over 7 years?
The problem is you owe me over $1500. I initially thought this would be a simple matter to resolve. This response is unfair and unacceptable. Please respond in writing and let me know what steps you will take to resolve this problem. I would like my accounts credited immediately
I look forward to hearing from you within two weeks, and will hold off on contacting consumer protection groups and government agencies during that time. If any one wants to call me please feel free [protected]

I just came across this and have to disagree. I have 3 businesses using them as my credit card processing company. They always gone over the top for us and we have never had a issue.I recall one time on the day before christmas eve they sent a technician all the way down here to hartford to replace a machine that died at my busiest restaurant in the middle of the night to make sure we could take credit cards on christmas eve.

i spoke with jenifer ext.206 on aug, 2, before i cancel my account she told me the cancelation Fee its $295.00 plus $150.00 total of $445.00 and after they charge my account for $945.00 i called her she told yes it is $445.00 i ask why you charge me $945.00 she said let me call you back and she did not call, i have to call her many time deferent days till she answer and she told me we pay Mike Forst which was one of their sales man $ 500.00 so we have to charge you this amount

This seems to be a recurring theme with this company. We had a similar experience with their point of sale system. They installed a system and left us high and dry with service. We had issues with one of our screens on a busy Saturday night and were unable to contact a tech. Our problem still remained for weeks without a solution. We are now in the process of switching from Write Touch to a better POS company.

On January 28 2010, I called aEast Commerce Solutions rep (they never do give their names) to compare rates. I had been using them over 10 years. He was very non-commital so I asked to close my account. I was told to submit a letter and was given their fax # to provide this. I sent my request in that night thinking the account was closed. On March 8, I received a statement charging my account $5.00 for nothing. I called them and complained. All I have received from them is couble talk and how they can or will not help me. I was told a Mr. Santori would call me. He did not. I called back and waited on hold for 15 minutes and was told a "Jonathan" would speak with me. Again, I waited. The''re service is much less than friendly except for a Jennifer. She, at least, attempted to help me, but they go out of their way to make it difficult for a customer to get resolution or help in the smallest matters.
