We purchased a leather sectional 1 year ago after three months the colour started to peel away the company repainted to affected areas and returned it to me again a few months went by same thing they told me this was classed as normal wear and tear and told me the company would not take back the sofa but they would repain again the areas affected this sofa was over 3, 000 dollars and is nothing but garbeg I contacted Ashley furniture and was told that it was the responsibility of each store to decide the action they would take Dufrense said it was the other way around I have been lyed to by this company and tricked into purchasing a insurence policy that they offer at the time of purchase It is nothing but a joke My sofa is at the moment again being painted

I purchased a dishwasher and paid extra to have the old one removed and new one installed. They delivered it and said they couldn't do those things. I called customer service and received a rude attitude in response to my frustration as they told me that the error was on their end. I then hing up and talked to a different customer service person who told ne that an email was sent to the company who does installation to schedule installation. The new dishwasher has to be moved to get into my bedroom, then moved again if I want into my bathroom or kitchen. I have a very small home. I called again asking to schedule installation and was told I needed to call to have it scheduled or wait for them to call me. I called installation company, who told me that I have to wait for a call from them to schedule and it won't be until next week. They have lost me as a customer.

To Whom It May Concern

We recently purchased furniture from your company, and had a really unfortunate experience. We were supposed to have our mattress and stand delivered. There was issues with the paperwork drawn up by Dufresne which ended up with not only preventing our mattress to be delivered, but the delivery people had an argument with my partner who had taken the day off work to be home for the delivery. When I called the store, they told me since our salesperson wasn’t in that day, there was really nothing they could do as he was the one to write up the paperwork incorrectly. When I asked to have the person converse with their manager about it, they said they’d call me back but after an hour of waiting I drove down to the store myself. It was then determined that the stand was never on the truck in the first place, and it was suggested I use my current box spring until the once I purchased arrived. My box spring and new mattress aren’t even the same size. When I brought the issues up by email with our salesman, he basically said there was nothing he could do and to contact customer care. When I inquired on the website chat, the person said they couldn’t help and asked me to call in and speak to somewhere. I asked if there was an email address as I prefer email communication and was told there was indeed an email address but it would never be checked or responded to. Then why have the email address in the first place? We were then spoke to customer care and were offered a $40 credit. We stated that would be insufficient at which time we were told they’d have to get approval from a manager and would call us back. More than 12 days later we called and the person on the phone expressed surprise as there was a note on file that an offer was left on our voicemail and we never responded. We never received such voicemail. We were offered $140, but had requested a new pillow. The person on the phone suggested we contact our local store to see if they’d be able to give us a pillow at that price. We reached out, and have yet again been ignored. We’re losing our patience at this point. We chose Dufresne for your reputation and unfortunately are sorrily disappointed. It’s as if as soon as you got our money, we no longer mattered. Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this issue. Thank you,

I went on your website and sent this exact complaint word for word to the complaint email. I even got a email from you acknowledging you received my complained, that was Nov 23rd at 16:04

I then posted this exact comment yesterday on a different Dufresne page.They deleted my comment and gave me no reply at all!

So the employee who caused the issues ignored my email, the official website ignored a complaint email and now an official Facebook page has deleted and ignored a complaint

We are awaiting a technician to come and look at our sectional for the second time. We purchased it in the summer of 2013, had the frame repaired this past summer and now, a piece less than a year and a half old requires significant repair. It has had minimal use, normal use, and the upright frame in the back middle has snapped and was almost protruding through the upholstery. Waiting to see if I will have to "pay" for the repair on a cheap, lousy $1200 sectional that is less than 18 months old. I referenced the fact that my parents bought a couch over 30 years ago that is in perfect shape - surviving 9 rambunctious grandchildren jumping on the couch. The response to me was that "they don't make furniture like that anymore. Make it cheap, make it fast, and get it out the door." If my sectional is not fixed, and they suggest I have to pay for the repair, it will definately be out the door. And I will never shop at Dufresne again. With a seasonal residence we have purchased 2 couches, a love seat and 2 matching chairs. 2 washer dryer combinations, fridge, stove and microwave, 2 ottomans and an expensive accent chair. Don't get me started on the 3 separate screwed up deliveries and their suggestion when we complained that my wife was a liar. Wow! Customer service. They have 2 jobs to do, sell and deliver "quality" products. BUT they have their money, so why provide service now? I hope to update this post with happy news that Dufresne made this right. I am not holding my breath

Hello, I have a bad experience with dufresne, first the quality of the furniture is very bad, actually it is garbage, I bought a sofa from them 2 years ago and from the first 6 months I had a broken sofa side, I called them, they send a technician to fix it, and whenever took of the side of the sofa to fix it, I look at it and you can see how the quality is bad, the side was empty from inside, like if you use it a lot it is gonna brake for sure, now I have the same problem with the other sofa, plus the color of the sofa is changing.so just I wanna tell it is a bad company with bad quality and bad customer service.if somebody wants me to send a pictures for him to see the damage send me an email on:mansour83@hotmail.com

Hi Fawn, I was curious to see if some people out there had similar experiences than mine, and I now see that I'm not alone, the truth is out there! Spread the good news! I didn't buy the same product, but I've had similar experience. Customer service doesn't give a $%?$"%$ (this is the f word censored in case the web site doesn't accept my comment) and they will tell you every possible thing to get rid of you. And you are exactly right, they do not hesitate to lie to you to get rid of you. I had an inspector that came in today and told me something, the customer representative called me back right after and told me something different, and didn't want to consider I was right.
