This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

Problems began from the very beginning. The general manager stopped showing
up three weeks into the project.

I was told that the plumbing guy was the "Foreman" only to find out later
that he was no longer with DREAM CATCHER, he was a subcontractor, not even
an employee of DREAM CATCHER construction. It was only after my repeated
inquiries that Fernando told me that Frank was no longer there.

He also assured me that HE would be on the job site each day to manage and
supervise. That never happened. There were two non-English speaking workers,
many times left alone; my home was left unsecured on many occasions. Paper
towels, flash light, and some precious items were taken, workers were caught
taking food from my refrigerator.

Things continued to go downhill. As a result of the lack of management and
supervision and no field coordination (as specified), no one bothered to do
things right. Walls went unpainted, sockets did not work, there were leaks,
and there were times the door was left unlocked.

The schedule was off kilter and continued to change due to the lack of
proper equipment.

Items in my household were broken and when I confronted Fernando about them,
he said, "These things happen, " but no hint of attempting to reimburse me
for the items.

Fernando never made good on his agreement to be on site and to supervise,
manage and coordinate the project. As progress crept along Fernando kept
e-mailing me stating that the flooring, tile work and plumbing would be
completed by the end of the month, and that we could move back home shortly
(we were displaced for more than 4 months)

At the last minute I was called by DREAM CATCHER to say that the central air
could not be installed until after a heat wave ... window aprons were not
installed, the closet doors in the bedroom had problems, windows were
cracked, and the list goes on and on.

Soon it became more and more difficult to contact Fernando by phone or
e-mail.

There has been no end in sight. Plumbing was not functional. We were afraid
to flush the toilet and the tub and shower were not reliable.

A few times there were leaks that disturbed other people's belongings and of
course Fernando would not even think of reimbursing me for that either.

He has not completed the other work he agreed to do. There is so much, I do
not have the energy to give all the details.

Working with this man has been a total nightmare and we would never
recommend him.

Since we foolishly paid in full, we have little recourse! Fixing the damage
to the pool and deck alone is going to be costly.

Just want to clear the water.

This is not the same Dream Catcher Construction as us. We are in Farmington, MISSOURI. We have no affiliation with this disappointment of a contractor. Our company opened in January of 2018. We've never had a Fernando or a Frank. It's just me and Jason until recently. Our first three hires are still with us. Josh, Scotty and Eric.

Please clarify which Dream Catcher Construction you are referring to with a location so that no one uses them in the future.

We have all 5 star reviews on Home Advisor and Facebook. We are members of our Chamber of Commerce and have financing option partnership with One Main Financial. None of these would have done business with us if this were us.
