My husband was sent to this dermatologist due to an allergic reaction. She is a good doctor and tried everything to get to the bottom of my husbands problem. My complaint is not with his medical treatment but her ignorance of paper work and the workings of short term diasbility. My husband was released to go back to work by Dr. Channaiah but he was not notified. We were told that 3 confirmation calls were made but we did not recieve them. If in fact confirmation calls were made and not answered then shouldn't something be mailed to make sure the patient is getting the information? Because of this negligence my husband recieved termination papers from his employer of 16 1/2 years thus resulting in an eviction notice and late payments on a loan. We did manage to salvage my husbands job but had to borrow money to pay our rent and loan payment so our vehicle wasn't reposessed. We are now six months behind and still paying off late charges and bck rent due to my husband not getting his pay check for weeks. As a result of the doctors ignorance we were almost homeless, jobless, vehicleless and we can not enjoy the holidays. If doctors are going to keep a patient off work then that doctor needs to understand fully the terms of short term disability or the services provided by the patients employer. If we have no problem recieving the bills we should have no problem recieving confirmation letters.

This is not the doctor's fault. I don't even believe it is her staff's fault as they did make 3 attempts to call you. Was there a message left? If not, I would question why not unless you don't have voicemail or an answering machine. If you don't have a way for them to leave a message, than this definitely would not be the doctor's office fault.

Why didn't your husband call the Dr.'s office to see if he could go back to work? Why is it always someone elses fault. This complaint should never have been posted.
