Debbie Meyer Green Bags are a complete flop. Used exactly as listed on the box, and produce went bad just as fast, if not possibly faster, than if placed in normal ziplock storage bag. Expensive and absolutely worthless. We assured that fruit and produce placed in the bag was dry, and had the same results. Totally no good. Don't buy this product...
I have been useing Debby Meyers green bags for about as long as they have been out. I have saved so much money on produce. I have had every produce product last me anywhere from 3-4 weeks at a time. My whole family has used them as well and we all love them. I would say if anyone is having problems with them, they are putting more then one kind of produce into one bag. I know I made that mistake, I tried to put a mixed salad in these bags and yes the salad was nasty with in a few days and better to have put it into a zip-lock bag. I wish we could find these bags at more grocery stores. Another suggestion I want to make is, to make sure you squeeze out as much air out of the bag as possible and then twist the bag closed.
