When I went in to David's bridal fir the fist time, they treated me so nice and helped and made me feel special.( other than the person helping me, Kelsey was her name I think and her breathe smelled like Doritos other than that it was wonderful!) So I purchased my dream dress the one I'm going to wear to marry my best friend in April it felt like a dream come true. So a couple weeks later I got a phone call saying my dress had came in was so happy and excited . So when I walk in they asked how can I help you etc. so I told her im here to pick up my dress . she said with attitude ''do you need to try it on'' then I said yes because isn't that kind of obvi? so she was like '' ok ill meet you by the brown curtains'' so when I walked over there she just threw me in a room and said if you need help there is people in alterations. luckily my mother was there to help me because they sure weren't in no hurry to help me. I stood in my dress for 30 min trying different belts trying to find one of those bra things and literally no one helped me. I felt like after I bought the dress that was it. they made me feel like I was nothing. isn't this supposed to be one of the happiest times of my life? isn't this supposed to be a exciting time? it gets better when I'm going to leave I had to sign a piece of paper saying I got my dress. well they were all standing around drinking Starbucks and saying right in front of me '' what should I get for dinner'' they literally had a conversation about what they were having for dinner while o stood there for five minutes to sign of paper.needless to say im pissed and so upset how horrible of service they gave me. I hate being negative but I just felt the need to say something because I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.

I'm sorry sweetie, but this isn't much of a reason to complain. You seem to think that just because they aren't kissing up to you that it's bad service! You were signing a piece of paper, they aren't going to just stand there and watch! I know David's Bridal is the cheapest of the lot, but this is nothing compared to what other people have dealt with. I've heard of brides not getting their dresses until a month before their wedding, and then it's the wrong dress (not a David's Bridal story, but I'm saying it could have been much worse). To be honest, you sound like a bride-zilla. I'm 26 and will getting married next year to my best friend of 8 years! I'm on a $10, 000 budget and quite honestly, it's people like you that are making me dread planning this wedding. I've been afraid to speak up and get the ball rolling because I'm afraid that people will think about my words the same way I feel about what I just read. I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying it to save your day. The only way this will be the happiest day/time of your life (which is sad because you should want even happier days after that) is if you stop expecting people to be fawning over you just because you have a shiny new rock on your finger!
