Damro / Request to repair the torn leather
I had purchased a corner sofa set and an additional single seater and a corner table from Damro India company Trichirapalli dealer 3 years back with an prompt service back up. Now due to wear and tear the leather covering of my sofa is torn and the spring tension is lost leaving the sofa fit for use and giving an ugly looking to my drawing room. I had visited the damro showroom twice two months back to inform the same.I was taken by surprise to know the service personnel visits Trichy only once in three months and the repair can be done only then.I had to wait for three moths.Now when I approached them with the same complaint seeking repair ( to my surprise they have forgotten the complaint)they tried to say the same three months story.Then I had to distort to some strong argument to make them understand that I am the same person contacting them after three months wating.Finally they agreed to send a person for inspecting the sofa.I had to remind them gain for them to send him again. Finally on last Tuesday (08.04.2014)a serviceman came and inspected the sofa and saying he would give me a quotation.But till Saturday no reply from them. Then when I contacted on Saturday I was really annoyed to hear that as the service person has taken ill and I may have to wait for another month to get my sofa repaired.
I want the company to give me reasonable answer for this.Is such a big company running with only one service man?
