Bookstores.com Book was not shipped

I bought a book from www.bookstores.com and did not receive it. These scammers stole my money and did not ship the book. That time had no idea they were scammers and I did not read the reviews and that was a huge mistake. I decided to try Bookstores because they had very good and cheap prices, but that was just a bait.
I'm so angry that I didn't do my research first. I sent a refund request, but they did not reply!
Don't even think of buying from this site!

Bookstores.com Avoid this website at all costs

I just purchased a book through this website. I had a promo code for 31% off so I was excited to get a great deal, but I noticed while at checkout that there was no box to enter a promo code so after checking out I sent them an email explaining the situation and requesting if it would be possible to edit the payment or give me credit. The response I got was this... "Unfortunately items ordered through the textbooksrus.com marketplace are ineligible for discounts."

So they must have several sites linked together and I'm sure this is the excuse to get out of honoring promos. I also didn't get a printable confirmation page after my purchase, although they did email one.

I was ripped off by two of there suggested vendors and bookstores did absolutely nothing to help fix the matter or regain my confidence. Even though I see Books cheaper listed on there site, I wont use there service as it is questionable. Horrible seller.

Generally safe, but check closely before sharing details.

Bookstores.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Bookstores.com, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.

This website offers payment methods that provide the option for customers to get their money back, which could be a positive indicator of the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.
