Bigbasket non-refund of money

I placed a Bigbasket order by Standard delivery, on 20/10/18, Order No. MKOO-[protected]-201018, by using Gift Card of 1000/-. (I purchased gift card). I asked Bigbasket customer care representative, that whether Bigbasket delivers in my area and he confirmed it.
On 21/10/18, they cancelled my order, saying my address is outside their delivery area.
Again on 21/10/18, I placed a Bigbasket order by Express delivery, Order No. DX-MKOO-[protected]-211018. On 22/10/18, they cancelled the order due to some operational constraints.
Refunded my money in Bigbasket wallet.
Now,
1). They first confirmed that they can deliver in my area. (Screenshot attached).
2). Next they cancelled my order saying my address is outside their delivery area.
3). Promised to refund 1191/- to my OlaMoney wallet.( Screenshot attached). But refunded only 189/- to OlaMoney.
4). Refunded my 1000/- money to Bigbasket wallet, which is of no use to me, as they are not willing to deliver in my area.
5). They refused to refund my money, to my OlaMoney or, Bank account.
I have launched complain at Bigbasket, Ticket No:[protected], but they refused to return my money.

Hence, this seems to be a clear case of carelessness on behalf of their customer support team. By this way they are cheating me, by holding money in Bigbasket wallet, and asking me to wait until they start delivery in my area. Why should I wait on their mercy, for my hard earned money? Please request to refund my money immediately to OlaMoney or, my Bank Account. An early action from your end is highly solicited.

Bigbasket non delivery of items as per schedule

I have frequently placed order in big basket and whenever I have done express delivery I have received it on time . But this is the third time that standard delivery has failed and they give excuses that they were unable to locate address. Secondly from the items I order, few of them are suddenly unavailable and refund is given in the wallet instead of actual source.
Very poor service ... Quality of service is deteriorated...
Will not recommend big basket to anyone.

Bigbasket nris beware big basket supplies rubbish goods

Iyers Papad - Punjabi Masala 180 gm Pouch 21 packets supplied were of spoiled quality.

I am a NRI and bought to be used in Hong Kong based on the reputation of Big Basket.

They apologised and confirmed that they are crediting back my account with the money but later changed the mind saying they can not collect back goods and so can't credit the amount.

Their merchandiser and quality control departments performed poorly and that's the reason this situation has arisen.

They should hold the supplier liable for a situation where their reputation is at stake. Instead, they are sticking to technicalities of collecting back goods from Mumbai which was not feasible.

Bigbasket Very poor service

I was very sick and wasn't able to go to the store. So I went online and found BigBasket service. Their site seemed nice and after I checked the reviews I've decided to give it a try.
I have placed my order on Monday and asked BigBasket customer service rep about the delivery. I asked them were they able to deliver on a specific date and they said yes of course. So I asked them to deliver my order on Friday.
On the estimated date nothing arrived so I called them and cancelled my order. They said how sorry they were and promised a refund. I was supposed to get my money next Monday.
The strange thing was that I did not get any confirmation about my order being cancelled.
So it was Monday. Waited the whole day but there was no sign of my money. Refund finally came three days later.
Will not use them ever again. Very poor service and extremely unprofessional company.

Bigbasket Non-delivery of order and customer harassment

I placed an order (no. TDVO-[protected]-080516) on BigBasket on 8 May 2016 and paid the full amount online. It has been 5 full days since the order and it still has not been delivered! Here is how the company has deceived and misled me:

1. On 8 May, I received a confirmation by sms and email that the order will be delivered on 10 May
2. On 10 May, at 7.36pm, I received an sms that the order has been cancelled (on its own, without consulting me!) and that the amount had been credited to my BB Wallet
3. Half an hour later, at 8.05pm, I receive another sms that the order (this time bearing a different number BDVO-[protected]-100516) will be delivered on 11 May between 5-7.30pm
4. At 10.45pm, a delivery boy arrives at home and as we are about to receive the items, we show him the messages, and he takes the delivery back!
5. On 11 May, I receive an sms at 5.58pm saying that it will be delivered between 5-7pm
6. On 12 May at 06.51am, I receive yet another sms saying that the order will be delivered on the 12th between 7.00-.9.30am
7. At 5.54pm, I receive another one to say that it will be delivered between 5-7.30pm
8. Today is 13 May and there is still no sign of the delivery!

In the meantime, I have written several emails to their customer service centre, there have been numerous telephone calls during work hours (despite having to step in an out of several official meetings at my end), and platitudes are offered that the order will be delivered according to the text messages that have been sent. The latest email I received this morning says “we understand your concern and we regret to inform you that due to operational issue the order got delayed. However, kindly get back to us with the confirmation to cancel and reprocess the order so that we will have this order delivered to you without any hassles”.

This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an online purchase. One opts for online shopping to save time and energy and in this case, I have spent a HUGE amount of time, energy and effort in following up and trying to ensure a very basic service for a payment that has already been made. The company has deliberately misled and cheated me.

Bigbasket Extremely unhelpful and ignorant customer care

I am not residing in India nor am a customer of bigbasket. But I keep getting emails and order confirmations from bigbasket. Even after sending multiple emails and proof of how gmail doesn;t recognize dots in the email id, they don't seem to understand. Have never come across such ignorant folks! I'd have tried bigbasket when I relocated to India, but this experience made me decide never to do transactions with them!

Hi BB Team,

I feel very pity to inform this. This is not the first time I have faced this issue with Big basket.
For the "Order no - WBVO-[protected]-020617", the behaviors of delivery person was horrible. He has too much attitude.
I returned 3 items as 2 got expired and one fruit was not good condition.
To calculate the total amount he took 50 mins. He was arguing with me like anything. I calculated for him.. and showed him the exact amount but his attitude and behavior was pathetic.

Big basket team, if you cannot manage customers and if you cannot guide the delivery boys, please stop all these.
I am putting these comments after registering complain min 4 times over call.

Sorry to inform “Big Basket” has started cheating it Customers by providing rotten products.

It has failed my expectation from previous experience.

Sorry to inform on Purchases made Yesterday vide Bill No. BMI-[protected]. Order no. BMI-[protected] delivered on Wednesday.

Found following 2 Products in Rotten Condition.

Item No. 8 : Fresho Brinjal Varikatri
Item No. 24: Fresho Ridge Gourd Grade

Attached photograph of same...

Please refund the amount by collecting Rotten Products or Provide replacement.
