This simpleton, utilising his lone qualification in "Basic IT Skills" to his maximum advantage, makes a habit of LURKING on popular ad site Gumtree, soliciting YOUR HAND-EARNED CASH in order to squander the proceeds on booze and ### for his mates!
Think you're getting your property refurbished? THINK AGAIN! If you want a lazy team of wasters turning up after hours, treating your premises like a nuclear waste disposal ground, painting (or smearing?) God-knows-what over your walls, furniture & toilet doors, stealing YOUR property, putting in less than one week's work over two, and clearing off everyday after 3.5 hours of constant, ceaseless and unrelenting cigarette breaks, then you've found the RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB!
Like a true cowboy builder, Andy Kear will charge you £1000s upfront and insist payment is made in "instalments". A "tidy finish" is idiot-speak for turning your home/business/property into the equivalent of a SHELL, with live wires hanging out the ceiling, flooring unlaid, and skirting board nailed into the middle of the wall as an afterthought!
AK Property Renovation's website quite literally glosses over the fact that Mr. Andy Kear is owed TENS OF THOUSANDS of pounds by big companies who have refused to pay for his botched-up shoddy workmanship! Moreover, he has been overheard THREATENING those companies with criminal reprisals - do you want this to be YOU?!

AK PLASTERING SERVICES in Droitwich (web link: http://www.akplasteringservices.com) appears to be the SAME COMPANY as AK PROPERTY RENOVATION in Redditch, with the same contact number given (Andy Kear).
This jerry builder is well aware that people are onto him, so has come up with a few different company names and web URLs under which to promote his "services". Might bode well for Andy to find himself a new career selling timeshares in Magaluf.
Update 2:
Looks like Andy has taken his website down in response to the complaints against him as the URL www.akpropertyrenovation.co.uk no longer works. Perhaps he's decided to change the name to www.akpropertydemolition.co.uk?!
The web site www.akplasteringservices.com is fully up and running however.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I have used AK plastering several times and found Andy and his lads to be the complete opposite to the description above. He worked 11 hour days on my last job and the fit and finish was excellent. I have recommended him to friends and other tradesmen and their feedback has been equally good. His prices are excellent and nothing was paid upfront. Please ignore this tirade as it is absolute rubbish. I have used some awful contractors in the past but Andy Kear is most certainly not one of them.
