Mrs. Martin-Thornton uses her skills as a lawyer to run a shady practice. If she ever has a strife with a past client or person in her life she will hire a PI to investigate that person for her own personal use, not for use on a case. Mrs. Martin-Thornton's ex-husband moved away from the area after SHE filed for a divorce from him, she found him by using a PI, obtained his phone records illegally, and at their daughter's 1st birthday party spooked his oldest son by asking him questions based on the information that she'd obtained using the PI she hired. I known about the unethical and illegal practices of Mrs. Martin-Thornton for six months. She goes into the courtroom and win cases based on these same unethical and illegal practices and if she lose the case she will stalk the opposing attorney and client. SHE MUST BE STOPPED!!!

interesting review, have to wonder if this is a competitor seems a little off to me as I have used her as my attorney for years and i would have to say the Complete opposite .. she always been more than forward with me .. and as for as unethical i want her to do everything within the law to win my case i do not think anyone would expect otherwise.

Jackelop: although I certainly have my doubts about the truth of the original post, your conclusion is wrong.

Winning a case does not mean, by definition or otherwise, that what one did to win is legal. Illegal practices can be used to win a case and simply remain undiscovered, for instance. It is not unheard of for lawyers to be disbarred (or worse) for using unethical or illegal methods to win cases, before, during, and after the case has been heard in court.

Of course, it's also worth noting that little of what the original poster describes is illegal. Obtaining phone records improperly is illegal, but there are legal ways to do so -- meaning the original poster would need to prove how they know illegal methods were used. And while a PI's services can be exploited for unethical purposes, their services can be used to gather information to be used in court quite legally, even if how it is done is slimy. As for "stalking" the opposing lawyer and client, well ... combined with the rest of this post, I can't say it's anything more than paranoia without providing proof.
