In a word the owner is a nut. This guy refused to just process my online order he had to call my home and try to sell me additional furniture. He said the piece i order was a genuine antique but when i got it home I could see it was a reproduction. He says he sells Antiques and Replicas but I was verbally assured I was ordering an antique, I received a Reproduction .I returned it and it was a that point he went crazy. He refused to acknowledge the proof of return and threatened me with everything imaginable. STAY AWAY FROM CHINAFURNITUREONLINE CHINA FURNITURE ONLINE.

I'm a collector of Asian art and antiques, I happened upon chinafurnitureonline while I was searching for wood stands for some vases that I have. Not seeing anything of interest, I clicked on their jade link just out of curiosity. As a warning to others, NONE of their carvings--at least in the first three pages--are jade; being soapstone, marble, feldspar, serpentine, or "Shoushan" stone. Why would this concern me? Because, just like "angered buyer"'s comment, it's gotten to the point where the Chinese producers have flooded the the market (with the promotional help of EVERY e-commerce site) with reproductions, forgeries and fakes that honest dealers such as myself will be generally dismissed as being overpriced by buyers who, instead, scoop up these "authentic antiques" and "100% pure jade" items from mass producers who have NO accountability.
No, "angered buyer", the owner is not "a nut". Now that his industry, for years, has had all of the major online collector websites in their back pocket and have already infiltrated, not just high-end galleries and the most reputable auction houses such as Bonham's, Christie's, and Sotheby's, but museums--even those in the PRC itself!--your just a small, insignificant player getting in the way of progress.
