Chartway Federal Credit Union review: Benefits due a Federal Credit Union

I am currently a member of Chartway Credit Union. "Federal" does not appear on any of their stationery. I recently became aware of the lack of "Federal" when I asked for the "Legal Dept." re one of my payments. I was told by 2 staffers that there was no legal anything for Chartway Credit Union. I did not know that for over 20 years I had been depositing my Federal Gov't. Ret. check in a local bank. I had been under the impression that my funds had all the safety guarenteed w/ a Fed. Credit Union. So all that money goes locally and when I need help legally because of a fraudulent action, I am out of luck? I just had GreenPath forged a 30 page document (DMP) using an electronic signature and now know one knows what happened or who the employee is who cosigned this form? Now my credit is ruined for late payments and all those credit cards closed! and Chartway staff who pushed this company on me and still act like a cult when this company is mentioned! and on my own must do stop payments to try and stop GreenPath? I was hospitalized on 2/18/26 and missed all of the activation dates. All the looting of my account and ruination of my credit took place w/out my knowledge. I am 81 y o so good luck on getting a good credit rating and you don't have a legal dept.? I need to be put in contact w/ the Legal Dept. that guides this non-Federal Credit Union.
