Went on Inn at Reading hotel website 5/10/23 to book a 5 day stay 5/14-5/19/23. I selected an inexpensive option and the total came to $404.10 and booked the room. My credit card was billed for $570.48 by CCIHotelRes for the stay. - there had apparently been a seamless transition from the hotel webiste to CCI. I was unaware of this until I approached to hotel desk to tell them I would be checking out a day early and was told I would have to contact CCI. The clerk said that she is can not alter nor view transactions and charges for bookings through CCI.

I called CCI (Getaroom.com) and was told they had a no refund policy for early checkouts. I complained about excessive charges and lack of transparency regarding costs and refund policies at the time of the booking. They grudgingly agreed to 10% refund ($57) to my credit card but this is a pittance compared to what I've lost. According to the rep, all was explained in my confirmation email - which I had glanced at on my phone - location and dates were correct and I looked no further. Had I scrolled through page 3 & 4, I would have seen the charges, etc. - completely designed to deceive.

Desired outcome: I am willing to pay the hotel for the actual agreed cost for the room ($404.10) but want the CCI HotelRes charges completely refunded to my credit card.
