My son ordered tires and wheels for our Lexus over a year ago (May or June 2021). Original payment was on Paypal (son's name). Then he changed his mind before they were shipped and the final tires/wheels payment was charged on my citibank card (my name). We gave the people in the order dept, the make/model/year of car. The order dept placed the order for the tires, for us. When the tires arrived, we took them to the local tire installer and the tires were the wrong size. Customer service asked for photos, which the installer took, and we sent in. Customer service gave us a run around for months about returning the tires/wheels and giving us a RMA and refund. In Nov 2021, we finally got a customer service person to send us RMA numbers and packing instructions. They sent "packing materials" but they were not the correct things needed. They made a second attempt with the packing materials and we made due with what they sent, but had to purchase additional packing materials to meet their "return requirements". Tires were packed up by us and UPS came and picked them up. We got a partial refund for maybe 1/10th of the total amount. When I contacted customer service again, Zoe was helpful but we never got the full refund. She said since the original payment was made to Paypal, the refund would go back there. Problem was that the refund was never received at Paypal (per Paypal). She gave us a copy of the chargeback reimbursement but the money never came back to my sons's Paypal account or to my citibank card. I want a check sent to my home for the amount they owe us.

Order Number# [protected] (Order in my son's name D. Tara...)

Per Zoe, reimbursement transaction was done to my son's Paypay on Dec 7th 2021. Charge back number 15y00345p06230234 for $1544.

The payment for the tires was actually charged to my citibank COSTCO card. My name is P. Tara... My son and I live at the same address. I do not know why customer service could not just send a check to the house. We did receive a partial refund via check, for about $150. The paypal account is in my son's name and he or his wife contacted Paypal and they said there was no money refunded to their Paypal account. I expect someone at CARID to send me a check for the remaining refund amount due to us. It appears that the accounting is too complicated with the Paypal and the citibank card and two different names, for me to get my money back electronically. Maybe the CARID accounting dept can speak with the PAYPAL people to determine if there actually was money sent from CARID to Paypal. If there was, then CARID needs to instruct PAYPAL to send us a check. I do not want an electronic amount sent to my son's Paypal account. They do not use that account any more and I do not have access to it. It has been so long and I just want the money refunded. The tires were returned back to CARID in early Dec 2022! In the mean time, we had to put money out to buy a second set of tires and wheels for the car, as the car had snow tires that needed to be removed. We had bought other tires from CARID in the past and never had a problem, but we will not be purchasing anything from CARID in the future. The customer service woman I dealt with (Zoe), was helpful. She gets an "A" for effort, but the fact remains I still never got my money back. Since the order was made by my son, the refund check ban be made out to him. I will get him to reimburse me.

Desired outcome: We would like to be refunded, by check, for the amount owed to us. $1544.
