Just received a letter in the mail from card holder services on 1/11/2020 claiming a recent change of address, which I have no acknowledgement of this company and who would request a change without proper identification and how did it get processed. The letter is asking me to call a number on the back of my card with a card I'd # which is strange because they are not telling me which card .

I just received an envelope with a credit card inside.

The return address is:

PO Box 24747

Tampa FL [protected]

Upon looking up the address it is stating it is for a credit card with Gnc Bank? Or something similar?

Sending it back, as I did NOT order this as Return - Refused!

I did NOT open the envelope

NOR did I order a card from them!

A new scam BEWARE!

I got the letter, it was actually legit. It was US Bank Reliacard card for PA Unemployment.
Frustrating that there was no bank ID or phone.

I did not file for unemployment and I never had a usbank reliacard. I am from california, but my family received a change of address letter addressed to me from cardholder services stating that my new address is in arizona! this is bs! I have tried to call the [protected]. never could get to speak to anyone. just placed on hold indefinitely. something is clearly very wrong here. I am wondering if our names are being used by the gov. to loot more money! they are already stating billions of dollars have been scammed from the disbursement system. how do you explain me getting a letter at my family residence stating I have changed my address when I do not have an account with cardholder services? never did and never will! they are using our identities to disburse the funds to who knows where!

WRONG! krebsonsecurity is misleading everyone! In the middle of the article, it references about not having an account with ReliaCard. But allows ReliaCard to divert its response about people that filed for unemployment or previously had an account with USBANK/ReliaCard. Lets stay on point! I did not file for Unemployment and I NEVER had a ReliaCard or any business dealings with USBANK. How the HELL did Card Services get my family address in another state and send a letter there stating I have changed my address to Arizona when I never had any relationship with USBANK/ReliaCard? I still live in California.

I just got the same letter; No indication of what card or company it is, supposedly, connected to. If they are trying to run some kind of scam or stupid business model to sell you some service; they're in for a shock when they pay to mail all these out... with NO way for you to get hold of them so they can make their pitch. Unless it is just trying to stress people out, and make us spend an afternoon wasting time calling our REAL card places, it seems poorly thought through.
