We had no issues with this company until the "soft start" equipment AND the "load management" equipment were both found faulty (within the 1st year of ownership). This caused multiple visits from our A/C company to get to the issue which they determined to be BAD equipment. The soft start equipment actually caught on fire. When we tried to get Canter to replace and install new equipment, they said they would only do it if they charged us for the new equipment and installation (or we could pay our A/C company to do it). This is all while still within the 1 year warranty. It is in the fine print somewhere but I do not like a company that uses cheap 3rd party equipment and then won't stand behind it when it goes bad in the first year. Their customer service reps were nice and tried to help but in the end did not do right by the customer.
Recommendation: Read your contract and understand that there are many parts of the full installation that are not included in the warranty.
