We moved from Edmonton to Ottawa a few months ago and we are in the process of registering our car in Ontario. We called the Barrhaven Canadian Tire to get an appointment on a Saturday at 1pm and when I got there the representative was very rude telling me we did not have an appointment. He finally booked me for next day and another rude customer representative took my car in telling me that he would call me if anything. When I went to pick up the car he said it did not pass the inspection because of a crack in the windshield. When I asked why he did not call, he looked surprised and went to talk to his supervisor. When he returned he said to get it fixed in under 10 days and bring it back for the safety inspection certificate. We went and fixed the windshield and got an appointment for the following Saturday. When my wife got there they said they did not have the guy who initially assess the car and they were rude to my wife. She had to get another appointment for the next day.
I think that says it all about their service.
Desired outcome: I really do not know if anything can be changed here. It is unfortunate that people who are supposed to deal with customers are rude and do not do their job properly to guarantee the minimal standards.
