Canadian Cash Awards notified me that I have prize for $3 million pending. In order to process my prize I was asked to pay $225. I paid this money but they have disappeared straight after. I was unable to cancel this transaction and now I’m in debt.

Gee whiz! I only won $100,000

& a $20,000 bonus! Good old David Logan called me today with the good news! They are coming Saturday to drop off my winnings! I’m dreaming of all the ways I could spend this loot! I think the first thing I’ll do is get new Facebook & Messenger accounts being as mine were hacked & I’ve been shut out the past 3 days!

Got a call from a Dave Logan advising me I had won a total of $375,000 Cdn from their raffle. None of what he said made sense. My first clue that this was a scam was that I had never entered such a lottery. He talked about my needing to fill out a T90 form as required by the CRA and the Better Business Bureau. Since when are those working together to ensure that such wins are recorded for taxes? But the real kicker was his insistence that I give him my bank card number so he could make an instant transfer of the money to my account. Alternatively he said the money could be added to my credit card, for which I would have to give him the number. I told him I could not find those cards. He said he would call back.

Meanwhile I got a call from Mary Hall claiming to be a lawyer for Canadian Cash Awards. She suggested I could pay a fee of $500 to receive my winnings by cheque. She said I could buy gift cards from Walmart and give them the numbers to pay the fee. As soon as we hung up Dave called again. He suggested that another option was to pay the fee at a CIBC but felt paying via the gift cards was best. Of course he applied pressure to get me to act as soon as possible even calling me several times to ensure I complied. I called my phone provider and left a complaint with them and then blocked the phone numbers Canadian Cash Awards was using. I am sorry if this report seems too detailed but perhaps another possible victim might better recognize the scam as it is presented to them in future.

I received a call from one Ronnie Goff canadian cash award that I won $4.2 million. He said I was among the lucky winner out of 700 that were being sponsored by their company. He said the total participants were 25,700.

He asked me to go to Walmart and get 2 Vanilla gift card or vanilla master card at the rate of $250 for insurance making a total of $500 for insurance. He said my cheque will be delivered to me tomorrow from Prince Albert. I told him to give me the address at prince Albert that I will drive down there myself but he refused.

He even sent me the documents but I know it's all scam. A gullible one will easily fall for this cos it looked so real.

They are out there and u will be wondering where they get your details from.

Got a call today from a Warren Carter saying that i won 2.5 million dollars and that they would deliver it to my home Friday February 19th between 1 and 2 PM. Now that's scary. They gave me their phone # [protected]. They said they were calling from Toronto. I knew was bull as they wanted me to give them $170.00 which was the taxes. Ha Ha I said - you do not pay taxes on winnings in Cannada. Said have a bice day and hung up. Assho----

Still going on CCA awarding me $850, 000 to be delivered via Purolator Jan 21, 2021, but first I needed to purchase a prepaid Visa card for $625 and have it registered to show who I am and that I was willing to pay the Govener-Generals office for transferring funds over $100, 000 from one province to another. I would not be required to send the card until after I received the $850, 000. However to register the card I had to give them the information on the front of the card. That is all they would need to get my $625 so I said no. This led to a tirate of how honest he was and assured me it was no scam and just trust him and I would see, stuck with no. Then got a call from the president of CCA informing me he is a multi-millionair and has no interest in my $625. So the scam must be paying well.

They are still trying! My call said I had won $125, 000 and it would be delivered to me, but first I had to go to the "Supermart" to purchase a "OneVanilla Cash Card" for $125.00. First of all, our store is the Atlantic Superstore and secondly they do not have a "OneVanilla" card. When he calls back I will let him know how unimpressed I am. I did give him a hard time during the first call, so I won't be surprised if he does not call back. His phone number was [protected].

Man called Douglas called to say I won 35 million and a Mercedes Benz. Says award is sponsored by Nova Scotia Bank. I told him that's not the correct name. He asked a few more obscure questions like who my beneficiary is and what bank I use.

I was scammed like this a few years ago. I am an honest trusting person and believed all the man said to the point I ended up bankrupt.I was taken in like so many others. I just got another call telling me I have won a whole lot of money and a car. This man has called me several times I keep telling him I know it is a scam but still he calls. I blocked his two numbers on my phone but what do you know he called again this morning from an unknown number (Private caller) I wish these people would leave us all alone.

Just had the Canadian cash in awards call to tell me I won 9.5 million dollars. He told me I had to pay $430 bucks to insure my winnings. I told him to call back and looked them up online and saw these comments of the scam. When he called back I told him he could come over to pick up the money but the cops would be waiting for him! Lol! I then asked him how he can look at himself in the mirror knowing he's taking money with naive people. He started yelling at me and said that he didn't appreciate being called a scammer. After I hung up on him he called back still trying to get me to believe him which blows my mind cause they don't quit, they will do anything to take your money. I feel sorry for the people that fall for this. If you win money from a legitimate lottery you will NEVER have to pay anything ( no taxes, fees or insurance ect..)

I was contacted by a man who called himself Donnie Jackson...said I won a Mercedes and $25, 000, 000. All I had to do was insure the money that would be delivered to my bank by a Brink's truck. The cost of the insurance is to be paid by a money gram from the Post Office in the amount of $88.00 Canadian dollars. He told me to call him back at this number [protected] after I purchased the money gram. He believes I am on my way to the P.O. and is waiting for my call back. He said the money gram was to be put in the name of Mary Baldwin in Murrieta, California. Said he was working for Canadian Cash Awards and Claims. Says this prize is awarded from some place in Las Vagas
