This California Driver Ed Course ain't all that great, just like what everyone else is saying. But, you gotta watch out for one thing - after you finish the course, it's gonna sign you up for this Allstate Roadside thing and charge you 5 bucks every month. So, my advice to you is to check your profile and cancel that subscription or else you'll be paying for something that ain't even worth it.

This website is a total disaster. I tried to open it on my computer, but it just wouldn't load. So, I decided to give it a shot on my phone, and boy was that a mistake. The website is so bad that it hurts my eyes just looking at it. The layout is so basic that it looks like it was made by a 5-year-old. I mean, come on, it's 2021, and this website looks like it was made in the 90s.

The lessons are like, super tedious, man. Like, there's this whole unit that's like, 5 hours long, and it's just all about traffic law codes. Like, who cares about that stuff, right? And there's like, barely any pictures or videos or anything. And sometimes the pictures don't even show up, or they take like, forever to load. And if you miss something in a video or picture, you have to go back and watch the whole thing again. It's like, so frustrating.

And like, every page has a time limit before you can move on. Like, sometimes it's only 20 minutes, but sometimes it's like, 2 and a half hours. And if you read at a normal pace, you end up waiting like, forever to take the quiz. And if you don't do anything for a while, there's this security question that pops up every 10 minutes, and you only have 10 seconds to answer it. And if you get it wrong 3 times, you're like, locked out of your account forever. It's like, so unfair.

So like, I just ended up like, not even reading the stuff and just setting timers to move my mouse around or whatever. And the final test was like, so easy, man. Like, nothing like the actual test questions. I only read like, the first 10 units out of 15, and I still got a 90%. It's like, so ridiculous.

This site is like, totally a scam, man. The reviews are fake, the costs aren't even advertised up-front, and the material is like, so outdated. If I had taken a different course, I would have my license by now. This course is like, such a waste of time and money and frustration.

To make matters worse, you couldn't even leave the computer during these long modules because of the random security questions that would pop up. If you missed one of these questions, it would count against you and you would eventually be locked out of the course.

I did have some success with the course, however. The material was informative and covered all the necessary topics for obtaining a driver's permit. However, the way the information was presented was not always helpful. Some of the pictures used to illustrate concepts were confusing and didn't really add anything to the material.

Overall, I would say that the California Driver Ed Course was a mixed bag. While it did provide the necessary information for obtaining a driver's permit, the random security questions and long modules made the experience frustrating and time-consuming. I would recommend doing some research before choosing a driver's ed course to ensure that you find one that is both informative and user-friendly.
