After seeing a report on [redacted] about a cattery called Dcdolls I seen that this cattery is also related. If you go to Dcdollsragdolls.com it goes directly to Cadeaudolls wesbite. One of my friends was taken advantage of by Elise. The owner is suposed to be Melisa Gelfand who is friends with Elise of Dcdolls. It apears that the website is owned by Elise favin and or both breeders because they do work togther. Elise was taking peoples money and offering no kittens and some of her kittens were sick and passed away. I would be careful of Cadeaudolls just as much as Dcdolls they look to be the same breeder or breeders.

The owner is supoed to be named Melisa Gelfand who is also freinds with Elise favin from Dcdolls. My best friend was taken advantage of by Elise so I am writing to let it be known that these two work togther and the cattery website is linked up to this breeder or breeders. Dcdolls was taking lump sums or money and never offering any kittens. as well as some kittens were sick and passed away. Do not trust anyone who deals with Elise.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I agree. I have a seven year old cavalier from Melissa and I've spoken to Elise. My dog has been sick from day one. Surgery after surgery. She is deaf. Gets rumors from shots. Surgery for anal glands and hernia. Diagnosed with bad heart at age four. Stomach issues that she nearly died from. Nearly all her teeth pulled by age three. These are all hereditary. Melissa could have cared less and my friends and vet agree. I was going to get one of her cats. Thank God I didn't. Who could go through this again. I never thought to ask for my $2500.00 back for my dog. I just thank God for every year she is with me. Yes run from these people. They give reputable breeders a bad name. Stay away!
Elise and Melissa did much of the same breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Run, don't walk is aptly given advice.
I was about to go to Cadeaudolls for my ragdoll becasue they looked reputable maybe they are not involved with Dcdolls but I decided to not find out and not to get from either cattery mentioned, instead I found a breeder a little farther then me called castletopdolls in Cecil county MD that was breeding for many years. I was pleased with the breeder because she did no caging and the cats were healthy looking and friendly.
I was given many references before I even put down a deposit and then I was alowed to see the breeders once I had my deposit in and all the kittens that had there vaccines. I really feel that If I had dealt with Cadeaudolls something would have happened negative even if Elise is the one who done the frauds they are friends because I checked into it and that is bad news. I now have a beautiful floppy ragdoll and happy that I did not deal with the other two.
Sounds like Elsie tore many hearts out and made most of you very sad.
I totally agree. RUN THE OTHER WAY. I was one of the people who were ripped off by Elise (She is a piece of garbage and I e-mail her every day telling her that) and she never tried to make restitution for a FIP POSITIVE CAT that she sold to me for my 8-year-old daughter as a Christmas present last year. She promised us a "replacement" and never made good. She does not answer her phone. BEWARE OF THIS HUMAN PIECE OF GARBAGE. I am personally making it my responsibility to educate people about her. My family did everything right and she ripped us off (nevermind doing it to a child).
We were able to get another kitten this November from a HIGHLY REPUTABLE breeder JAZZMANIA RAGS (Joyce Houser) in Pennsylvania. I would also highly recommend Bellapalozza (Mindy) in Connecticut (whichever is more convenient for you). Both of those ladies are honest, reputable and are doing this to spread the love of Ragdolls. My experience with Jazzmania Ragdolls was WONDERFUL. We have Bluebelle home with us and she is BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY, and WE LOVE HER WITH ALL OUR HEARTS! Getting a new kitten should be such a happy experience, and ELISE FAVIN will steal that from you too. STAY AWAY FROM HER! Trust me, I have nothing to gain by posting this, but you have everything to lose!
By the way The site DID take you to Melissa's but she must have changed it because now if you type in Dcdollsragdolls it goes nowhere.
Cadeaudolls is listed on [redacted] as well as Dcdolls but you have to type in Elise Favin to see most of the Dcdolls reports. Melissa writes back as well on Elise's report. She is a real person but they are partners. I would RUN and seek another breeder.
