Cabins USA Rental cabin

Cabins USA isn't what they used to be. I've rented from them for years and was always satisfied until now. Their reservation specialist don't care, their cabin owners don't care, and neither does management. The only ones who is sympathetic to bad situations are their maintenance people.

Bear Cove Escape was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I paid over $1400 for a cabin who's hot tub was disgusting and hardly had water in it, the separate game room had dust an inch thick- a TV you couldn't use- a busted speaker- a pool table that needs refelted- an arcade game with a sloppy and junk joystick- and a dart board without good darts. The inside of the cabin was even worse! There were 2 china cabinets with an inch of dust on each shelf- locked in with chicken wire so they cant be dusted (had to call my doctor to have allergy medicine called into a pharmacy in TN)- the sofa downstairs is pleather and peeling- the bath tub faucet downstairs was stripped out therefore the water wouldn't turn off unless we tightened it each time- the beds aren't attached to the bed frames (rather a cheap frame under the bed which was very flimsy)- the dishes were all broken and chipped- there was no wifi or cell phone signal and just a corded phone- the drive way was washed out with huge holes and places the water washed out- there are no bear proof trash containers so animals tore up trash- the steps are very narrow and my children fell and hurt themselves- the light post us laying on the ground next to the outside steps.

This is not a cabin worth renting! Management decided that knocking $60 off my bill was the answer when my allergy medicine cost more than that- not to mention the damage done to the suspension of the vehicles.

I will NEVER rent from Cabins USA ever again!

Cabins USA Entire stay; cleanliness, no arcade games working

Checked into Smokey Mountain Memories rented from Cabins USA on July 1, 2021. Checked out July 6, 2021. There were 8 families traveling from north and south for at least 10 hours a piece. This was a 12 bedroom, 14 bath house with an indoor pool and 2 game rooms. This was supposed to be the ultimate family vacation. Upon arrival the house was filthy, the pool was cloudy with hairballs floating in it and NONE of the arcade games worked. The pool had no safety rail to enter and exit the pool (in our party, there were 5 kids, a pregnant woman and 3 people over 75) The tiles were extremely slippery (not pool tiles), the caulk all the way around the pool was split, the pool chairs were rusted and bent and there was no molding around the bottom wall with holes in the wall. The pool table was "leveled" with cardboard, the dartboard didn't work, only had 5 darts with no tips and the broken tips were lodged in the board, the Centipede game didn't have a ball on the joystick, the shuffleboard didn't have any sand. This was all upstairs. In the basement, the air hockey game had a totally broken off goal and the motor was blown, the golf game was completely fuzzy, the shooting game only had one working gun and tended to freeze, the driving game only had one working car so couldn't race against each other, the broken car had a missing screen, and the other arcade game froze on whatever game it was on.. None of the chairs in the theater room reclined, even the ones that were supposed to. In the kitchen, one of the ovens was duct taped shut and totally unusable. The four slice toaster was completely broken and the eating and cooking utensils were put away dirty. Not enough eating utensils for 18 people much less the 40+ it's supposed to sleep. Missing towel racks, missing toilet paper holders and broken toilet seats. Huge hole in side of upstairs bathtub where it looks like someone kicked it. Face off one of the dresser drawers with staples sticking out (my almost 2 yr old granddaughter found this). Multiple nails and screws found on the floor. Broken rocking chair outside. Cobwebs in corners and on lights. At least a dozen light bulbs burned out. No fitted sheets on one of the beds, just a top sheet folded over. Batteries missing in numerous remote controls and some didn't have the backing over where the batteries belonged. The one hot tub took two days to heat and the other hot tub blew a fuse within 30 seconds of someone getting in (this problem goes back two years if you look at the reviews, company repeatedly says it was fixed) both hot tubs had covers that folded into the deck making it almost impossible to enter and exit. Management company was called the first day and supposed to send out pool cleaner and housekeepers first thing the next morning. After noon the pool cleaner (maintenance man) came out and cleaned and shocked the pool (ph level was off). Said he would be back later in the day to fix some stuff. He did come back with another maintenance man and they fixed or replaced the towel holders, toilet paper holders, brought 2 new toasters, some plastic cooking utensils, new darts, batteries for dart game (electric score still didn't work) and remote controls, duct taped back of remote control and leveled the pool table with a piece of wood. Also, removed half the cover of the hot tub so we could get in and out and fixed the breaker. Now on day 3 and kids are finally able to get in the pool EXCEPT, the heat was never turned on. Maintenance came back out to turn on heater. He also promised to return to fix outdoor rocking chair, bring sand for shuffleboard and a brand new dart board. Never happened. We did attempt to get in the pool the fourth day, but was extremely slippery and with no safety rail, extremely dangerous (pictures of pool show a safety handle). Maids came on third day with a broom handle and towel they swished around. Minor things fixed. Major things not. We payed over $13, 000 dollars for 5 nights. Totally unprofessional and inexcusable. Do NOT rent from this company.

Cabins USA cabin rental

Just wanted to share some issues with the sweet mountain rental.We entered the cabin at exactly 4pm as we were told to. There was a maintenance man in our cabin who informed me that he was going to replace the broken microwave.He had not even started the process. He left the new unit on the counter and left . We immediately noticed a broken tile on the floor that could be considered a tripping hazard.I placed the loose broken piece on the counter. Then we all noticed that in a 4 bedroom cabin there were a total of 5 closet hangers. There is trash and other items that appear to have been tossed off the deck and left on the ground. There was part of the hot tub drain floating around the hot tub and no instructions on how to use the hot tub to be found. In fact there are no instructions on how to use anything in the cabin.The large speaker near the pool table for instance.Throughout our stay we had multiple low battery warnings from smoke detectors going off. And speaking of batteries i think you need to change them in ALL the remote controls as none were very responsive.Out on the deck the adirondack chairs with the broken cup holders have exposed nails sticking out in a spot you would naturally grab onto when sitting down in them.Also the treadmill on the deck doesnt work .As far as the cleanliness of the cabin we noticed a few things that indicate a general lack of care.The long uncut grass in front, trash on the grounds, sticky bath floor, cobwebs everywhere, dryer vent not cleaned..etc. There are multiple toilets that are loose or have loose seats.Lastly i tried to use the jetted tub yesterday ...well before it was full the hot water ran out. This was late in the day and no hot water was being used at the time. When i was in the semi warm tub i touched the faucet and recieved a light electrical shock.Not enough to cause injury but needless to say i got out immeadiately. The cottage is very nice but it is apparent that there is no oversight/inspection being done. I would never consider returning or recommending them to anyone.The management company has not responded to my complaint whatsoever.

I reserved a Cabin on Thursday May 15 for the next day. So we checked in on May 16. They gave us our cabin address and the code for the door keypad. We went out to our cabin and went in and people were in our cabin. We quickly left and went outside to call Cabin's USA and Complain...only to be put on hold for 25 minutes and be told that they didn't have...
