The Brick - Dishwasher, washer and dryer

I decided to purchase all appliances from the brick when brick said they will price match the competitors price. Since it was same price, I decided to go with thebrick store as I thought they have a better customer service and good reputation. I certainly repent that.

Here is my ordeal

1> I was promised washer, dryer installation with the purchase : delivery guys came and put the appliances. They didn't care to put the carpet runner so house become very dirty. Then guys went for washer-dryer installation. After few minutes, guy calls me and says, exhaust vent is small and drain is not opened. I called the building contractor and he said he will open the drain but brick guy said, he can't install as exhaust vent won't allow clamp to be installed as it's too small, they also said, your laundry room is very small (I had stacked laundry set bought). I didn't say anything thinking he may be right. I complained to builder, and builder told that we have exact same laundry room for 100s of homes and nobody has complained so far about small laundry room. I got a local handy man and he charged 200$ and installed washer/dryer without any extension. I complained to store, and one guy calls and says, our guy couldn't fit in and hence installation was not don. I complained that local handyman could so you should have been able to but no response, I sent at least 5 reminders and no response whatsoever.

2> microwave : delivery guy came after few days, I asked if I can open, he said, you can open later on and complaint to sales if there is issue. In the evening, I opened, glass pieces shattered, thankfully, I didn't get hurt.

I complained and they said they will order replacement piece. It has been 2 weeks since and no update when it will be replaced, no follow up from their side as well.

3> dishwasher protector is not there, direct rubber part of dishwasher.

They don't care to even respond to my emails.

Worst decision of my life to buy and trust brick.

Never will buy again from them

They don't care though as they seem to think that I bought all appliances and will not buy for next few years

I decided not to buy furniture from them

Desired outcome: 1> i need rebate for 200 $ i had to pay to local handyman2> microwave delivered in good condition soon , or provide loaner microwave3> provide dishwasher protector.4> official response to my emails

The Brick - Leather sofa & chair

We purchased a leather sofa and a chair that we were told was in stock.total cost after tax was approximately $5000.00 plus
We received deliver as scheduled but however, the sofa was of wrong colour.

A second delivery for the sofa also was of wrong colour. The customer service rap told us that he couldn't help us expedite delivery of the correct coloured sofa and told us there was no other options except to WAIT for delivery.
Then the store manager abruptly interrupted without introducing herself and started being very rude. She made feel I was the trouble maker and she was doing me a favour.
This not what customer service is about, if not for customers you would have no job!

worst service and cheat people by promising at the time of sale and ask to purchase warranty and don't honor if anything happen, DON'T BY FROM BRICK

The Brick - Unusable new washer

I ordered a floor model washer and dryer from Brick, Markham, Canada.
It took 2 weeks to deliver and another week to install.
The next day I ran the washer and found lots of water came out from the body of machine itself. The water damaged lot of stuff in the room.
We call Brick right away and it's Friday and long weekend. We were told to call another company who was responsible for it on Tuesday. By the time we rich that company, we were told it's Brick's responsibility. We had have spend more than 11 hour on the phone and try to fix thing. So we decided to go to Brick and talk to their manager. We were told to wait another 24 to 48 hours for response. Now, time has past and we still receive no response. What can I do?

Desired outcome: Refund all the money and remove the machine to brick.

The Brick - Product return

I purchased a mattress set from Cherry, who was wonderful. At the time I also purchased a mattress protector. Before delivery of order, I realized I did not require mattress protector. I tried to phone store but no one was answering so I drove back to store to cancel the mattress protector. Cherry again was very helpful and had them issue a credit for a total of $124.27.

Mattress set was delivered Aug. 20/19 and the delivery men were amazing.

Upon checking my Mastercard to-day, I noticed that a refund for the mattress protector was not issued but it was processed as a purchase instead.

I have been trying to phone the store all morning but I just keep getting message they are busy.

Do I have to drive back to the store to correct their error? You would think a large company like The Brick would be able to answer their phones.
