I ordered delivery from this TH location this morning, April 10th, 2021 at 8:45.. I would normally stop in for pick-up since the store is a two minute walk from my home, but due to Covid-19 I thought it best to order in.
I've ordered the sausage breakfast BELT on many occasions so I know exactly what to expect every time. The order arrived very quickly and the Uber driver was pleasant.
I opened my BELT and to my surprise the bagel had a black burnt part across the bottom. My partners bagel was very dark brown and sloppily put together but he started eating it before I could take a picture, equally disappointed. The egg was almost off the bun on one side, and the sausage was almost off the bun on the other side. There was lettuce on both sandwiches where I specified "no lettuce" on both, it gets soggy. I tried to center all the topping but I was just making it worse. My partners sandwich had the three tomatoes all stacked on top of each other and not spread throughout.
The bagels were sliced crooked and it was very thin on the bottom and thick on the top. I tried to take a bite around the burnt part and the entire sandwich fell apart after one bite. At that point I disposed of the sandwich and called MacDonalds. There was absolutely no pride taken in the preparation of this $18.84 meal.
It doesn't seem that anyone is doing any sort of quality check before sending out menu items. To see this kind of complacency with such a reputable chain as Tim Hortons is very disheartening. I hope this message makes it back to the operator of this TH unit.
