Today afternoon at about 2:30 pm PST, at Sleep Country Canada store parking in Burnaby, my car was towed illegally.

Store address: address: 4568 Kingsway, Burnaby BC V5H 4L9, Canada

I was in store and interested in mattress of king size. After coming out from store I saw there is no my car. I called police for stolen car, and getting some other number I realized that car was towed by Mundies towing company.

I didn't have a choice expect to go to their park and pay amount of $182.39.

I asked to get information why I was towed and on which call. They didn't want to release information. I told them that I will sue them for stilling a car and they have to tell me who called them. They told that your store called.

After that I went back to store and ask for manager. Answer was that store has no manager. After further discussion they told me that Mundies checks customers inside store to see which car belongs to which customer is in store. Obviously that was not true. I saw female sitting on the side of parking pretending she is talking to somebody. Obviously Mundies towing was reacted on her call. This is well known scam how towing companies get some of their income but it is not clear to me why Sleep Country Canada is involved with them.

Do you guys think it is good for your business and that you will attract customers by doing this kind of things?

I demand from Sleep Country Canada to reimburse me amount of $182.39.

Otherwise I will proceed with legal actions and also get engaged on all social media's review and platforms regarding your practices towards legal customers. I was your customer more than 20 years but this will stop our friendly relation unless this matter is resolved as I demanded.
