GARBAGE IN MY OPINION!
I will never buy from them again the only thing worse than their shipping is their customer service! I paid $20 extra on a $50 pair of shoes to have them "rush shipped" to me in 2 days in which case they didn't even ship them for 4 days so it took 6 days to get an item that I paid extra to have in 2 then had to deal with their worthless customer service department is rather buy shoes at Payless!

i unknowingly ordered a pair of fallen shoes and a brixton hat from what seemed like a very professional looking site "skateamerica.com" which stated that they would be shipped in 5-7 days (include $20 for shipping, pfft) on june 8th of 2009.
it is now early august 2009 and just like the dozens of complainees, i am with out the goods i have ordered. all i've gotten from skateamerica.com are unanswered phone calls, auto replies on my e-mail inquires, and severe aggravation for being taken for $140! i'm still in disbelief that a company that has acquired SO MANY COMPLAINTS on this forum and numerous others, that they have not been shut down for their fraudulent practices.
come to find out that skateamerica.com was advertising the 2 items i had ordered aren't even in production yet (they are fall 2009 items). what a scam! so beware! skateamerica.com has no problem taking kid's $$$$$ on items they can't possibly deliver. Beware when ordering from them! They will take your payment and postpone your order. I ordered apair of shoes and my ship date has changed three times. We are almost five weeks from the initial order. The company makes no contact with you as to why. When you contact them no response! I would not advise anyone from ordering from them. Good deal or not, do not be suckered in.
Ordered 2 items they shipped the first item in about 2 weeks, other item shipped out a month later than got billed on my credit card an additional 3.99 for shipping.poor custemer service! dont buy from this place!
inappropriate business tactic
yesterday I report "SkateAmerica.com" in some government body of USA, please participate and report them too, visit the sites below and report your case (please do that)

2) www.ic3.gov (it's a subdivision of FBI)
3) www.ftc.gov
I will tell you my experience with them, I order the Jan 13 2009 one pair of shoes and I pay $187, 42 with my VISA, a month after (Feb 13th) I cancel my order and I asked them to refund my card because they wasn't able to send me my order, I get an email and they told me to wait 3-6 weeks and finally after the 6 week nobody credit my bank account (my order number is: SAX223795) and reply my emails.

Unauthorized charges
I ordered a hat for my boyfriend the week before Christmas. Skate America claimed that orders will be in time for Christmas. They claimed that my order was not processed.
On Christmas Eve, 2008, I ordered the Rockstar hat again. A few weeks later I received an email saying that they needed my proof of my name and the billing address. I didn't want to do this but later I did because I was sick of dealing with them.
A few weeks after that, I still didn't receive my order and I noticed that the shipping date kept changing. I talked to them and they said it should be shipped soon.
A couple days later, they told me that the hat was out of stock. So I ordered a similar one which they claimed to be a 'Top Seller' and was supposed to be shipped out immediately. About a week later the same thing happened like the previous hat.
I decided to try one more time. I talked with a Skate America representative on the phone to make sure everything would work out and that the hat would be shipped when it said and she assured me that it would. I switched my order to a Fox Racing hat and the shipping date was said to be today, 1/28/2009. I just checked and the shipping date has been changed to 2/2/2009.
My sister paid for the item with her card and I paid her with cash. She said that the money has been taken out of her account. This is getting ridiculous and Skate America should be brought to justice for everything that they have put their customers through.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I've got really bad experience with Skate America - www.skateamerica.com.
I've ordered and paid clothes for 730 dollars in AUGUST, it took them such a long time to send me my order and even though everything did NOT come and they still owe over 200 dollars. They just keep sending me such an email since October:

In November I found out two unauthorized payments from October (7 dollars) and November (100 dollars). I just cant get my money back!

Be carreful ... I was searching for a company to buy some new boards and i found them ... They have no address, no private phone number and there is no way to contact them ... I went on the web site of element and I found this custom : www.skatewarehouse.com I had a great service and all is going Ok with them. Forget www.skateamerica.com ... You will never be able to speak to a human in this store.
