Darren sign signed a loan document, notarized on January 31st 2020. He assured me that the loan would be re-paid within 30 days and asked for the document to be end-dated March 30th as the due date in case there was a delay. I agreed. On January 20th Darren told me that he had submitted an invoice for services rendered under his company name BUILDTEK LLC to the amount of $80, 000 in the beginning of January 2020 and was expecting that payment within 2-3 weeks. He explained that he needed living expenses covered as the man from whom he had borrowed in excess of $100, 000 had ceased his $10, 000 monthly line of credit. I loaned Darren $5, 000, he asked for a higher amount and I refused. Darren has repeatedly avoided my phone calls and not responded to voicemails through the past 10 months.

Darren did not stay in touch or give me updates regularly. I had to consistently reach out to him as the loan commitment was not honored.

The list of LIES that ensued are as follows:
• First it was delay a because of Covid in person restriction with disbursement of funds from the company supposedly billed for services rendered. As everyone knows, office workers immediately went remote and thee were very limited delays for any company. No funds were paid to me
• Subsequently Darren told me he had not submitted the invoice in January as he had originally said but only months later! No funds were paid to me.
• Months later Darren stated he had changed bank accounts and the company had not followed his directions. This was to be easily rectified. As anyone who runs a business is aware this takes no more than one week for a company system to be updated. Of course there were no funds paid to me.
• Then the excuse was was new "receivables and renewables" had been submitted, obtuse empty words that are meaningless. No funds were paid to me
• Now Darren is claiming there was fraud on his bank account. It is now laughable. As we all know banks quickly rectify this. No funds have been paid to me.

I want everyone to be aware that this man is a compulsive liar, a thief, has no integrity and is charming and slick with his language. He is not to be trusted in any way.
