Approximately one year or so ago - I made an appointment with Dr. Case to discuss concerns regarding my skin and a procedure they were doing called Evolve. He was confident it would be beneficial for me to proceed with the treatments. At the time - I was just getting over pneumonia and wasn't extremely well. We discussed my long term lung issues and all that I had been through. None the less... we agreed to proceed with the Evolve treatments and I don't recall how much they were each but I remember the total for all that he recommended was $3800. He wanted payment in full that day. I told him I couldn't do that but I could do half and then in a month I would do hopefully the rest... or at least another $1000. So — we proceeded. I had several treatments of which I saw no results and became discouraged and my health was failing even more so I just canceled my future appointments. At one point later when I felt better - I called and made an appointment with another esthetician for a facial but soon thereafter; at or about May-2022 I got a diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis and have been pretty much home bound on oxygen 24/7 since. Needless to say - I haven't been back.

I have a credit there in the amount of $7-800 that I have requested numerous times thru the receptionist - she was going to talk to the doctor and let me know and I just never hear back. This went on for several months. Then I started asking the receptionist to have him call me... and that didn't happen. So before Christmas-2022, I wrote him a letter explaining my situation healthwise, stating I wasn't physically able to come in for any further treatment asking him to please refund my money. I still haven't heard a word from him. Today is January 18, 2023 and I've called him twice this month and left him a message to call me back and he is clearly ignoring me.

I don't like to cause "waves" but he has left me no alternative here... I need some help and don't know who else to turn to!
I will note that at one point the receptionist told me "they" don't refund money - you have to use it for their services. I told her "I have a terminal disease and cannot come to use your services and did not know that or I wouldn't have agreed to pay up front ahead like that!" Her response was she would see what she could do and she never got back with me that time either.
