I sent my Marantz receiver to Brent, crossed paths vintage,1011 McKavett Dr, Burleson, TX 76028, on April 1, 2022 for repair and tuneup. His business number is [protected]. Brent told me there was a sixty day turnaround. I told him over the phone and by email before I sent the receiver to him, that it only played in stereo and not 4x quad. Brent told me he could repair that problem. After over seven months and almost every excuse used by him, he wouldn't return my receiver. I told him I wanted it back done or not. I paid Brent $660.00 for the work on April 2, 2022 by Paypal. I had to file a police report with a deputy of the portage county sheriff's office, [protected], Stevens point, WI 54481. I filed the police report on November 8, 2022.the deputy called Brent and got him to return my receiver. I got my marantz receiver back on November 11, 2022. Brent did not repair the 4x quad part and also broke in three places, one with a piece out of place of the face plate insert, It's the plastic glass on the front of receiver. It's a factory made part with numerous holes, slots and lots of writing on it. I have been to ups. Brent didn't insure the package. Ups says there is no physical damage to the package and no insurance when sent to me. Crossed paths vintage advertises on e-bay. I in the last three months have seen posts about his shady business practice.
