Iam an Engineer working in United Arab Emirates. I got a mail
from "THE EAST MIDLANDS HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND PROMO". The below mentioned
message is the first mail from them.
"This is to inform you that, Your Email Address has won you the sum
of £855,000 Pounds Sterling from THE EAST MIDLANDS HERITAGE LOTTERY
FUND PROMO on our 2007 End-of-Year Charity Bonanza Promotions.

I had later replied to this mail asking for further information. They sent
me mail saying "HOW TO CLAIM THE HERITAGE FUNDS". They even informed me that
the fund is transferred to a finance institution.This mail is from a
person named Ed Mayer. His contact number is as mentioned below:

They had given me a mail id of that finance institution. The below listed is
the following details of finance institution.

From ladbrokes & baker, i got a mail asking to open an account with them so
as to transfer the money. They asked me to send $350 as the account activation
fee. As per their requirements, i had sent the money through western union to "LAURA VROOBELL".
after they received the money they
even called me & asked to check the mail for the account details. When
i checked them, i saw the whole amount of $850,000 where debited to my account.
When i was trying to transfer the amount to my account, they asked me to pay a
$2000 so as to receive the commission of transfer code (C.O.T. code).
i mailed the ladbrokes & baker asking them why they havent informed all the
procedures before starting the process. after that their is no mail from them.
from this i came to know that they where cheating me. i want u to take proper
action for these type of actions.

This is the name of the person who sent me the exact same email just yesterday. Ed Mayer must have retired on everyone elses money. His email address is mat.henson@hotmail.com if anyone is interested l don't know where to report it.
I, too, received a similar email. I have applied for the account, however have not yet funded it. I am glad that I saw this site before doing so. I have emailed "Ladbrokes&Baker" to query why it is not permitted to fund the account and take fees from the monies set aside for me. I should have known it was too good to be true. I am thinking about teaching them the lesson, but need some help from others. Comment back if anyone wants to help.
This pisses me off big time, thinking I had given a change in live, the ### rob me for the little I had.

Thanx god, I got this blog before proceding further on this cheating. I am in Australia. I have already apply to open an account with these cheats... But now I come to know what to do.
There should be strict penelty for this type of fraud scam.
I knew straight away it was a scam as many people had told me about it, but I wanted to see what the process was. They should learn if they are going to use a site about their institution they should at least change the web site for current interest rates. The site where interest rates were promulgated had not been updated for years. I never went past the second email
Had the same email,yet another scam. Why cant police track these people thru their emails and prosecute for fraud?
