I paid for a kitten called Jax. You can clearly see on the page he says sold. So I was sent a slip saying he was flying from Western Australia to Melbourne. Then to me in Tasmania. Then I received an email from a company called pet movers.au. Saying needed to pay for a special crate that had air conditioning. So after refusing to pay for the crate, I made contact with blue ridge cattery. They told me I needed to pay for the crate and that I would be 98% refunded for it. Nope not happening. I rang the airline and was told not to pay it. Unfortunately, I have paid for the kitten. Please please please do not buy a kitten off this website. You will not get a kitten and they try and rip you off a second time.
The real Blue Ridge Cattery is in Russia... anywhere else and it is a scam
I almost just got scammed by Blueridge Maine Coon Cattery as well. The contract gave a name of Melanie Carlson, 76 Vandalia Ave Asheville, NC 28806 with phone number that we exchanged text being [protected]. When I asked to Facetime them to see the kitten, they wouldn't do it. BEWARE!
Hi. I have just tried to buy jax and felt something was when I was not able to see the cat before money changed hands and my PayPal would make the payment.

I have just tried to purchase Jax. From Blue Ridge Cattery 5 May St Rockingham, Maricel Balondo. Asked me for a $750au deposit. We only live 15 minutes from her address so I asked if I could come and see the cat today and pay the deposit with cash. Her reply was that she cannot accept walk ins without a deposit, and that she has had a lot of interest in Jax so in order for her to reserve him she needed a deposit by Pay Pal. I advised her that if we are unable to view him first, feel free to sell him to the next person in line. I have not heard from her since. Definite SCAM
