I purchased a car from Birmingham Luxury on the southside. I paid cash for my car. Also I am very upset when I got the car Charles charged me $*** for a lien on the car that he never mention. I purchased a warranty for $***. So the car was totaled Feb 1, 2021. So, I called about my warranty the young lady I spoke with stated to me they will send it from the warranty company. Then she will call me in 3 weeks to get my check. Spoke with the warranty company they stated Birmingham Luxury needs to cut your check. This been since March 1st. Left the young and message haven't returned my phone call. This is not the right way to treat your customers. I paid cash *** dollars. Was also ripped off because he added a state lien without discussing this with me. NEVER AGAIN.

Probably the most Unprofessional experience I've ever had. I was in contact with them via email and specifically said I would like formally start the buying process on a truck. I filled out a credit application and sent info on my trade. I got several reports from where they had ran my credit. They gave me a ballpark on my trade. I never even got out of them what my credit came back as or what rates or interest would be. I had to be the one to follow up with them. then come to find out they sold the truck I was in the process of trying to buy out from under me 3 days after they ran my credit. and when I was informed of this I was told "a sales person had a customer come in last night". I had been trying to buy this truck for 3 days. My credit now has hard inquires on it for Zero reason. Will absolutely never recommend or shop here again

Drove nearly 5 hours to purchase a vehicle from them just for the car to pop a code. This being said they clearly saw the code and cleared it before selling the vehicle car is now in she shop needing a new turbo and I'm left with no form of transportation.

Birmingham Luxury Motors Bought a 2012 BMW 5 series from this dealer on 5/22 with 122,044 miles

Bought a 2012 BMW 5 series from this dealer on 5/22 with 122,044 miles. Around 12/5 the starter went out (actually caught on fire) and the engine failed. Do not by this car used. After researching this particular BMW it was know that it had engine failure after 100,000 miles. If you want used go to a new car dealer where you will get put the facts.

Birmingham Luxury Motors I drove 4.5 hours to try out a car that they said had no damage

I drove 4.5 hours to try out a car that they said had no damage. But when I arrived, it was clear that the front end had been damaged before. Cali then mentioned that it was actually on the carfax. I wasted 10 hours driving and a bunch of gas for nothing. On top of that, she wouldn't hang up the phone to help me with another car I liked. Right after I left, they took the car off their website because my wife noticed the ComplaintsBoard.com sign in the showroom and commented on it.

Birmingham Luxury Motors told us our loan was approved by compass bank. We signed loan papers and got paperwork to buy a tag. After 2 weeks, they called and said we had to return the vehicle. We had already bought a tag and a bed liner for the truck. We expected a full refund, but they charged us a stocking fee and a fee for every mile we drove. They took over $xxx for a vehicle we had for only 2 weeks. When we signed the papers, they didn't mention anything about a restocking fee if the loan wasn't approved. They said it was approved. I wonder how many people they scam like this just to make a quick $xx for paperwork and a 2-week rental of their vehicles. They call this sale agreement a "spot delivery" transaction. With spot delivery, you get the vehicle right away when you commit to financing it, even without a definite agreement.

Birmingham Luxury Motors I bought a 55k Range Rover from Birmingham Luxury Motors on April 19

I bought a 55k Range Rover from Birmingham Luxury Motors on April 19. I also got a $5k extended warranty, and they assured me it would cover any issues. Just 8 days later, the 'low coolant' light came on. I stopped right away and had the truck towed to the Land Rover dealership. I called Murad and explained what happened, and he said the warranty would cover it. And it did.

Exactly a month later, the 'transmission overheating' light came on. I stopped again and had it towed back to the dealership. It's been there since June. The engine block got warped because of the first coolant leak, and now I need a new one that costs $30k. But the warranty company denied my claim. This dealership sold me a $50k piece of junk. The owners aren't helpful at all. They sold me a truck with a known issue and won't take any responsibility or offer assistance in getting the new engine. I had to pay for it myself. Now I've hired a lawyer to go after the warranty company and the dealership.

Birmingham Luxury Motors Seller sold a Tesla with Full Self Driving Capability (FSD) at the asking price

Seller sold a Tesla with Full Self Driving Capability (FSD) at the asking price. The feature was confirmed in three ways: 1) it was written in all caps in the online listing, 2) there was a photo of the vehicle's software screen in the online listing, and 3) a separate photo of the vehicle's screen, taken by the salesperson, was texted to the buyer. However, when the buyer notified Tesla of the ownership change, the FSD feature was removed. Tesla and the buyer both confirmed that the feature was removed before the vehicle was sold at auction, long before the buyer started working with the seller. The seller acknowledges these facts and also acknowledges the buyer's patience and politeness despite the many failed attempts to resolve the issue (calls and emails that were not returned). Finally, the owner of the dealership responded. However, the seller is only willing to take the car back, and the expense of doing so would be thousands of dollars for the seller. The seller considers the statements of "As-Is" and "options may change" to be irrelevant excuses. All the facts have been documented and provided to the seller. The buyer simply wants the cash plus taxes to purchase the FSD feature.

I paid $500 to Birmingham Luxury Motors to hold a car for a week. I didn't end up buying the car, but they didn't give me my deposit back. On 8/13, I used my credit card to make a deposit at Birmingham Luxury Motors to hold a car that I was thinking about buying. *** told me that the deposit would keep the car for a week and I could get a refund if I decided not to buy it. She didn't say that the deposit was non-refundable. On 8/18, I decided not to buy the car and called Birmingham Luxury Motors to ask for a refund. Ms. wasn't there, so I talked to a manager named *** who said the deposit couldn't be refunded. When I mentioned what Ms. had said, he said, "I'll pass you on to my manager!" Then I spoke to another guy who said, "If *** said she'd give you a refund, then I'll give it to you." He also said he had my authorization form and the receipt for the deposit in front of him. He said he would refund the deposit to my credit card and it should show up in a few days. On 8/20, when I still hadn't received a refund, I called Birmingham Luxury Motors and talked to *** who said that if I was told I'd get a refund, I would, but he didn't know if it had been sent yet. I emailed *** on 8/20 to ask about the refund again, and she replied saying that she had told me the deposit was to hold the car for a week and it would go towards the purchase. Then she said in the email that the deposit couldn't be refunded. She told me to talk to her manager, ***. I called and left a message for ***, but he still hasn't called me back. If Ms. had been honest from the beginning and told me the deposit couldn't be refunded, I would have done things differently.
