Beyond - The Career Network review: Fraudulent job search site

Beyond.com creates a personal portfolio for job seekers, assigning a unique URL where you can post your resume for employers to view and highlighting your employment history and skills. They email job postings to your inbox, too. It seems so professional. Yet, I eventually discovered that Beyond is not interested in helping you find a job. On the application forms their affiliate sites use, there are job-unrelated questions, such as: are you interested in continuing your education; are you interested in finding out if you qualify for a free cell phone service? The information from the application form you submit is passed on to college recruiters and other advertisers, not to an employer. If the employer is listed on the application form and you go directly to their website, you will find that the job opening doesn't exist.

Job search engines that are affiliated with Beyond.com (their name and logo, plus the name The Career Network appear on the job postings from these search engines) include (but are not limited to): Construction Workforce, Business Workforce, JobAnimal, Mikeroweworks, Healthcare Jobsite, TechCareers, Logistics Jobsite, SalesHeads.com, Financial JobBank, Education Jobsite, Engineer Jobs, Hospitality Jobsite, JobCircle.com and IndianapolisGigs.com. The application forms used by all of these boards affiliated with Beyond.com are from Gigats.com and Applicant Tree. The Career Network and Applicant Tree are owned by Egyptian native and U.S. multi-millionaire Ayman El-Difrawi AKA Alec Defrawi AKA Alec Defrawy AKA Alex Difrawi AKA Alexander Simon, etc.

The Gigats application forms now indicate they are powered by Employer Network. I've recently begun receiving job postings from Employer Network in my email. You will notice that while you're registered with Beyond.com or receiving emails from any of their affiliates that you are bombarded with telephone calls from telemarketers all day long. Also, once a profile has been created for you on the Beyond.com website, you cannot delete it, your resume or any personal information. The contact information (i.e., email address and telephone number) listed on their website doesn't work. Once, I managed to get all of my personal information off of their website but later tried applying for a job on an affiliate job board using Gigats for the first time (they previously used Applicant Tree) and when I hit the submit button a message appeared welcoming me back to Beyond.com and informing me that my profile had been created on their website (yes, it had, although I hadn't registered nor received a user name and password to access it). However, representatives of Beyond.com deny that they affiliated in any way with Gigats, Applicant Tree, The Career Network, or any of the job boards bearing their name and logo.
