Beaumont Dearborn Hospital review: Cleanliness and unethical behaviour.

I, Nancy Patricia Rychcik was an impatient twice in 2 years at Beaumont Oakwood in Dearborn... at my last admission, I was in for 5 days... being admitted with a bowel blockage and a UTI.

Not one time was my room CLEANED! No wet or dry mopping, no picking up of trash on the floor, used faced masks, needle caps from syringes and my room mates soiled gown was left on the floor...

No clean bedding at all during my stay and the bathroom was never cleaned.

I am a diabetic, and glucose reading were not performed regardless how long it was from my last meal.

The nurses were telling me my doctors ordered the wrong doses for my meds? Since when are the nurses to question what my doctors prescribe?

I was discharged with out ever being on solid food and very disappointed when 2 doctors gave me their business cards for me to come and see them on my release - very strange since I already have a staff of doctors who work out of your Royal Oak facility.

My husband and I are in our 80's and live in Allen Park, but will still continue to use Beaumont Royal Oak rather than go to Beaumont Dearborn... My feelings are well stated above... We have discussed our issues with others and in our opinions, your Dearborn Facility Oakwood leaves much to be desired...
