My husband and I went thru drive up at A&W in Lakewood CO. The address is 10220 W Colfax Ave. This happened on July 1st, 2021 at 6:45 pm.
My husband and I ordered the papa burger combo wanting to use a coupon. My husband asked if we could get two meals on the one coupon. The lady on the intercom rudely said "no" she also said they had no hamburger. After deciding we wanted chicken sandwiches but still wanted to use the coupon, again another rude response that we could not use the coupon and we could not use two coupons in one transaction. We told her we would do two separate orders. When we got to the window she then said we could not use the same credit card for the two separate transactions so my husband said he would use a different credit card for the second order. The lady (who did not have on a name tag) at the window said she would not serve us and that we should go somewhere else as she slammed the window shut. My husband and I were irritated at this time. She opened the window and told us to leave. We asked to talk to a manager when she said she was the manager. We told her she was very rude and that we were going to call headquarters and complain. She told my husband that he was rude when ordering, which in fact he was not rude at all.
After having this experience at this A&W, we will never return being treated the way this rude and so called manager was. She should not even have the manager position and is not a good role model for her employees.
What ever happened to "the customer is always right?

Desired outcome: The manager should be fired!
When in your life have you always been right? NO ONE is ever "always right". That motto was made up by a department store owner in 1800's and is often used by toxic, unreasonable people to try to get their way at any costs.
When has the customer always been right? That's just a tired, made of phrase that toxic people use to try to get their way! At no point has ANYONE ever been always right! No sympathy here for the service you received. Wit that customer is always right attitude, I have no doubt you two were mouthy.
