Shopping at plumpton Woolworths was a bad experience.The line for checkout was extremely long with slow staff that had a bad attitude I got to the checkout and then started placing my items up to be scanned and the staff member carelessly grabbing my groceries and throwing them in bags I had raw chicken and eggs which they threw into a bag and when I arrived home the chicken packet was torn open and leaked onto my other groceries
Woolworths - No bbq chickens cooked for purchase every sunday morning
I live in Lethbridge park NSW so Plumpton isn’t our local Woolworths store, But every Sunday morning I go to Woolworths Plumpton mainly because there’s a Bakers Delight where I purchase bread from… No matter what time I get there (this morning 12th February 2023 it was 10:20 am) only to be told bbq chickens were 1 & 1/2 hours away from being cooked, But I’ve been there at 8:30am, 9:10am and even 11am to find similar situations where they’ve always got an oven of either raw or half cooked chickens… This is absolutely disgusting Service as there’s no way they’ve had a load of chickens cooked from 7am and sold out prior to me arriving… Our local Woolworths is Emerton where again after buying bread from Plumpton Bakers Delight I was forced to go today (arrived at 10:30am) to be told a 10 minute wait with apologies… I can’t go to Mt Druitt as there’s no Bakers Delight but from now on will be shopping at St Mary’s Woolworths as there’s a Bakers Delight there… If I find similar situation then have been assured Coles is happy to provide from open to near closing time…
It seems that on Sundays Woolworths only hire young staff to man their deli to save on wages I assume, But these staff don’t get in early and start cooking chickens so that when the store opens at 7am they’ve got stock to sell…Thanks Woolworths Plumpton great example of what not to teach employees and also how to make sure the lunch time customers (probably 12:30 — 1pm) have plenty of chicken…I’ve been experiencing this problem for well over 12 months and finally learnt my lesson today as had a gut full of this appalling service…But don’t worry as I’m happy to do a little free work for woolworthsspread this word of advice to my 3000+ Facebook followers…
Desired outcome: Have staff come in earlier and start cooking bbq chickens so that the minute the doors are open 7am there’s chickens to purchase, or even have them ready at 8am…..Not That Hard Really..
