Arbor Woods Sun Communities Ann Arbor, MI. 48105 review: Rental of housing

I SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION FOR A 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. I had been accepted by several other communities, but because I just became legal guardian of my granddaughter and wanted her in Ann Arbor schools I decided to submit to Arbor Woods. I have lived in my Townhouse for 9 years 1 month, before that 5 years in Flint, MI. My rent history is unblemished I am a disabled Veteran receiving Benefits, (958 /mo) and Social Security Benefits (1425./mo.) and recently came out of retirement working for Durham Public Schools - (2632 /mo) and my son is also a co-applicant working at U of M Hospital - 3 years now) First I was told my application was being processed 3 weeks went by, as of Friday I was told I should hear something shortly. On 8/29/2022 I went to the office and was told there were problems with my online application. Well we physically submitted our application with ALLneeded verification they copied EVERYTHING, DL, SSN, Rental Verification, Income Verifications from ALL BENEFITS AND MY JOB. Hard copies and at the time were told everything was in that was needed. On 8/30/22 I received an email from Olivia-Sun Communities to come in because a few of my documents that were loaded didn't come out clear, long story short I questioned how this could beat, I decided to go to the Community today with every hard copy of my documents. I was told "Quote" You were turned down because of credit? First these are conflating stories and unless My rental history credit is turned in for non payment or bad payment history (which is IMPOSSIBLE for 16 years plus I haven't had any problems) my credit is being cleaned up from Student Loans I amnot understanding how 2 days I was denied and because I questioned my documents being misplaced I am left denied I put in notice for 10/1/2022 at my present residence and This sounds unfairl also when in the office My application was found sitting in a pile of other applicants that were waiting for Units to become available. This isn't Fair and Just treatment and I wasn't aware that a citizen could be rejected be abuse of a low credit score. I could understand if I had a history of not paying my rent and evictions, which HAS never happened I am a dedicated disable Veteran that wants to not be DISCRIMINATED against. My son and I are more than able to pay rent 3 times over, One of the women in that office picks and choose (which is UNPROFESSIONAL) and not fair This action has caused my family all kind of problems weeks have gone by and now my lease is going to be up shortly I was forced to enroll my Granddaughter in Ypsilanti public Schools, I have now find myself going g to have to rent MONTH to Month be ause I gave 90 notice which I will have to pay a extra $50-$75 a month. I am so devastated
