Aramark Uniform Service, Paramount CA.unethical practices

I am a current employee and Have been in the industry 20 plus years. At Aramark"s Paramount location for the last 10. This industry was filled with service oriented, personal attire/uniform Route drivers who earned an honest living on a commission based route in a Union shop. Commissioned was important to the customer as well as the drivers based on the economy dating back to the 1940's. If you had to bring home the bacon, and your check depended on it, your service to the customer was key. Now with that said, It has changed in a big and bad way. The location I work at is the basis for this complaint and I know first hand the reasons behind the issues. So, I will stick with the Paramount location and the current managers that are behind the poor quality of forced service the customers are receiving. If they are receiving anything at all.
Over the last 2 1/2 years, the new generation managers arrived. These are the graduates semi fresh out of college, and the positions at the companies they had, were now "downsized" out. So, they brought the only thing they new to the positions they now hold at my facility in Paramount. Which is responsible for the businesses in the areas of west of the 605 freeway to the south bay area to all businesses south of the Santa Monica (10) freeway. The current general manager have initiated and forced the Route Drivers (RSR['s) to price increase after price increase. The Corporate office has enforced the increases allowed and stipulated by the customer at the signing of the agreement. GM Alex Granoien's bonus plan has pushed the extra, and illegal increases (against Ca. Business law as well as Ca. Code of ethics) as well as the extra push to make up the revenue due to customers quitting. The RSR is the face that is seen at the delivery. They are the same face that had serviced that customer for years with an honest and ethical attitude that in most cases, sold that very account. It is our reputation that is being stained. His gang of newly hired youngsters are very much similar as he and came from similar situations. So, they are forcing the RSR's into termination situations when they do not comply with these in house mandated unethical practices. I, along with numerous other RSR's believe his days are numbered. But the damage is done. Our reputations are as gone as most of the customer base. We are all very sorry for the bad service everyone has had as of late. If you could possibly help yourself by contacting the Better Business Bureau and complain, that would benefit you and your business in the long run, it would give serious evidence to what we RSR's call Illegal practices which can compared to Racketeering, strong arm contact enforcing and contract fraud.
