We signed up for pest control. When the employee who does the pest control in our area showed up that same afternoon to spray, it was raining. We said "if its raining, it probably won't work so perhaps we should re-schedule. His response was that it's not raining very hard and that rain will activate the process. We believed him not having experience with them and trusting that he knew what he was doing. If was a very hard rain which dissolved the treatment and we got no relief from any of the bugs that we were trying to get rid of. I called today to get the application re-scheduled. They told me that they only come to the area if there are other properties scheduled within a 3 mile radius. I could not get an appointment until after I needed it. They had over a week to correct the situation before I was scheduled to host an outdoor party. I had paid $99.00 for the initial application which did not do anything to alleviate the pest situation. I then said that I had no confidence in their ability to deliver customer service and I wanted to cancel our contract. They told me it would cost me$199.00 to cancel. I finally got them to cancel the contract but not return my $99.00 They are clearly in breach of the contract they made with me. We have not had any service as promised. I threatened to sue, which I will if the $99 is not returned to me, on principal. This looks like a scam company and I think others should know about it.

Desired outcome: Return my $99.00 and make sure my contract is cancelled
