I have a complaint for Applebee's at 201 S. Hermitage Rd, Hermitage Pa 16148 we were there on May 1,2023, at 4:13. receipts # [protected]. There were 2 people at our table. We could not even hear each other talk because of the outrageous loud, rock music playing. We asked our server Sara S to please turn down the music. She said she had and that was the lowest she could do for us. We still had to yell to hear each other, so we asked for the Manager. That's when the Assistant Manager Justin, came out and asked what he could do for us. He also said unfortunately we were sitting under a speaker. What do you want me to do, turn it off and we replied Yes. Justin then said he couldn't do that because it would deprive others of their music. When people dine out they want easy listening music, something pleasant and mellow, not bang your head off the wall music, which was what they were playing. We could not enjoy our steaks!
The couple across the aisle from us when leaving asked if we had complained about the music and then also said it was very unsatisfactory and said they will not be back.
Because of the way this matter was handled we will not be back, either.
If you continue to treat customers this way you will not be around very long!
Desired outcome: refund our money because we could not enjoy our steaks$15.90 and $19.07 = $34.97play music softer and be able to adjust volume.
Applebee's - Complaint
I had seen the advertisement for the steak and $1.00 shrimp. So I decided to return tonight. I arrived around 4:20 the place had a few customers but not a lot. I was kind of hinted that I would be more comfortable at the bar or a table top. I said that I wanted a booth. "Well OK" So I was seated I was about to walk out after 5 minutes of waiting, my wait person came up and said what ya want. I told her and then waited, The order finally came. It did look like it was editable. I did eat the steak and mashed potatoes. I waited on the cocktail sauce to come never did. As she went by about 10 minutes later with a order that came in before me. Her hands full, "You done" I said no I would like another tea. I had enough time to go to the restroom and get reseated before she returned.
The only thing she did with some promptness was get the bill and take care of the charge.
So If you want some of the worst service in Grove CIty go a head eat there.

I had a takeout order with my family tonight. I've had the Fish and chips before, the first time I had it
and it was good.
So, I ordered a second time. A little over cooked but looked and tasted like fish.
However, tonight didn't even resemble fish. The outside was good and crunchy. The inside tasted nothing like fish and didn't look like fish. I was all MUSH. Very disappointed. I spent about $70.00. I won't be eating at Applebee's again.
