I purchased 2 heavy steel dog crates through this company. On the website they say that if the product is defective, they will cover return shipping costs.
My purchase was for $732.22.
I clicked the Paypal link to complete my purchase. Crates were delivered and they came with the wrong trays that catch the urine. The 2 trays were advertised as 21 1 /2 inches each but the ones that came were only 17 inches
I notified the company and asked them to send the proper pans. They refused and told me that I had to return the 2 crates to them at my cost and they would replace them. These 2 crates weigh almost 145 lbs and shipping was $380. I contacted Paypal and they said that the seller - Aosom Canada has an agreement with them that buyers will cover return shipping cost and not them.
Paypal doesn't care what is advertised on Aosom Canada site or their Ebay listing. Its a private agreement between the 2 companies.
So I am now the proud owner of 2 useless crates and I'm out $732.00 by buying from Aosom Canada Inc and using the so called buyer protection PayPal
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER AND CHECK WITH PAYPAL FOR THEIR PRIVATE AGREEMENTS WITH SELLERS
Desired outcome: I want the seller to come get these crate, stop lying on their website and ebay about the will cover the cost of shipping on defective items purchased
